My only thing is that my phones have always consistently outlived their accessories. Still thankful for the thought, but chances are very good with me that by the time I'm ready to upgrade iPhones, my case, dock, FM transmitter etc. will all be broken or missing lol.

Appears you are correct. There's even a $.99 Night Wave Light app that appears to be an exact iPhone "port" of this concept. Don't know how well it works though, I figured I'd burn the buck to give it a shot but it's too bright. Will try later tonight at bedtime.

Look, while I don't agree with the term "deserve to [be victimized]", there's still the context of being realistic. Nobody should ever be stolen from, that's a given, but it does happen fairly regularly, does it not? And given that it does happen, regularly or not, then you do have a responsibility to take appropriate

I feel like this gif gets properly utilized on an incredibly disproportionate amount of articles on lewd, strange, or otherwise mindf****g occurrences.

How long until it comes with one of these guys attached to it?

This made me laugh so hard I damn near crapped.

I would say MyFordTouch and the other connectivity stuff in the cabin is irrelevant to the point at hand. We are talking about how fun it is to drive, not the crap in the center console, after all.

Focus St.

I'm a bit saddened to see that apparently no one got your awesome Hackers reference.

Obligatory.

Yep, same exact deal here. I have the block-off plates, but I don't have an AP (yet... been a little "cash poor" lately) so I don't want to bother until I can delete the codes. Not to mention the AP ACCESSTuner only runs on Windows and the only computer I have is Mac, so that's another drop investing in Parallels and

I'll concede that it's likely due to my inexperience with the Subie boxter engine until recently. Honda engines are ridiculously easy to work on, and when I think of engine bay room, I think of the Ford Ranger. I had one of those once upon a time, I could almost stand in it without removing anything and it had a 4.0

Yep, also calling shenanigans on the Subaru comment. It took me and another guy (a seasoned mechanic) half a day to pull off and replace the intake manifold to try and replace the useless secondary air-pump that sits underneath it (the replace didn't fix the CEL, even though that's the code it's throwing, so guess who

"Tighten the nut behind the wheel" has always been my favorite car maintenance maxim.

+1. It's a pet peeve of mine when I see someone put premium in their Focus SE, without realizing how little if anything at all that's doing for their car. If your car's manual doesn't implicitly state a required minimum octane, regular will do just fine. But hey, it really shouldn't bother me since it's their money

That there are certain components in the car that are *designed* to be replaced. Most people know they have to replace their oil every so often, but very often forget that there are other parts that use oil that needs to be replaced, not as often as your engine oil, but replaced all the same. I can't count on two

"If you can't name two things you're regularly doing outside of work, you're spending too much time there." Does it work the same way if those two things are drinking gin and throwing rocks at old people?

"I do agree, however, that mocking up websites in Photoshop is a stupid practice. That's for designers who can't be bothered to learn Dreamweaver or another IDE. At least we can agree on that! :-D"
