You are assuming all cross-platform games are FPSs where M+Kb has the advantage, but why restrict it on other games? I'm talking about Sports and RPGs, I'm sure there is no unfair-ness in using M+Kb in a turn based tactical game like Chess :P

Some games just can't get modded because of the way the engine is built. Especially linear single player games.
