If Epic bans a streamer for speaking out on Hong Kong, then I’ll be upset; so far they haven’t.  It’s not about how deep you are in their pockets, it’s about whether you let fear of losing Chinese money push you around.

Hearing how supposedly generic the game is makes me want to laugh. I’ve literally never played a game like it or that looks like it (obvious clear out camp missions aside). It seems like most of the criticism is about Deacon being white or about him being a generic white man. The claims of no character development is

Never been a fan of Rousey. Don’t like pugilism and she is a crime against acting.Having said that, as much as hate to agree with her, she is right about the transgender fighter.

I will for the NES games and cloud saves but I value $20 differently.

Anyone else think of assless chaps whenever they see a special edition Pro Controller (the Smash one this time around and the Splatoon one from last year)? Something about leaving the middle bare just evokes it in my mind with such clarity...

This isn’t minimal. It’s got a giant logo (and its such a shitty logo) across the face and different colour handles.

... when I get pissed at someone in an online game, I sometimes say to myself “what a fucking fag.” And that doesn’t even make sense because I never say that word or any variation of it in any other context.

To be fair (to most people, not really him), “heat of the moment” isn’t so much an excuse but context and explanation. Normal decent people do bad things once in a while, often “ in the heat of the moment” and while it doesn’t excuse the behavior and make it a non-issue, it does put it in a context that at least

US food portions are generally much larger than what’s served elsewhere in the world. It really exploded during the “burger wars” in the ‘70s when, after nearly bankrupting themselves competing on price, the big fast food chains started increasing portion sizes instead.

As a counterpoint of view, I loved it. I watched the clip three straight times. The look on his face when he realizes what’s about to happen and the way chat went crazy was wonderful to me.

Yeah even though I gave up after dying about 10 times at the second boss, I died about a million more times just trying to get there. The minions in this game are absolute hell. I also had difficulty adjusting to the high, mid and low stance mechanics.

I’ve played most of the Souls game (I think only DS3, going to get to it eventually!) and have gotten quite deep into the game or beaten a few but this game has thoroughly kicked my ass twice around the corner. I cannot for the life of me get past the second boss.

Damn these cooldowns are even affecting the articles

Yeah I’m going to have to disagree with you on this. While the DLC concept is a turn-off, the fact that the base game only costs $25 offsets that a bit.

That first clip would be fucking amazing in a real baseball game haha. It played out so smoothly it actually looked legit.

That rhythm heaven clip was a terrible.

Pretty sure it’s just a stage for fun.

Same. My two boys are wonderful. Don’t do it.

I have two kids. I love my kids.

Why are people so bitchy about DLC? You got a 100% complete, fully-polished game. Maybe they had these features already planned and held them back on purpose for DLC. Maybe not. It’s impossible to know. (Aside from a handful of the amiibo-exclusive items, which don’t count, because those were always meant to be tied
