Sorry, I guess I’m not following. You mentioned that the insta kill perk was annoying because you cant get exp or money, so I just pointed out if you don’t ambush the enemy that the insta kill effect doesn’t happen. What do you mean it negates other confidant abilities?

Just don’t sneak attack and you can fight the battle as normal.

Same, I have thoroughly beaten every souls game to date, and this game kicked my ass so hard I eventually gave up. I never thought I’d say this about this type of game, but I really wish they would add an easy mode. I’ve never wanted to keep playing a game so badly, but I was getting extremely upset at it.

What I’m curious about is how can modern sized games fit on a cartridge? Are they using similar tech to flash drives? And if so, wouldn’t that be very expensive? I’ve never seen any articles discussing how cartridges work in modern day. I’m not techy at all so, sorry if this is a moronic question.
