Another game tried mixing rhythm with RPG, with (IMO) great success, called Before the Echo (formerly Sequence). The game was made by professional voice actor Jason Wishnov (the voice of Byakuya from Danganronpa), and as it turns out, he’s a hell of a writer.

Right off the bat, they’re going to have to tweak natural Explorer or dipping one level into Ranger for advantage on initiative/psudeo ‘surprise’ on enemies you beat is going to become standard, at least on none-caster classes (and quite possibly everyone). Generally good changes though.

I can’t be the only one who’s extremely bothered by the fact that the official title of the game seems to be “LASTFIGHT” when the spacing (kerning? not sure if that’s the appropriate term in this particular instance) on the official logo clearly indicates that the title is actually “LAST FIGHT”.
