People are confused because they expect it to be a real game. This is only being developed and marketed to the extent necessary to avoid being sued by the government of Singapore, with whom they made a deal over a decade ago to subsidize the development of this game in their country, ostensibly to create jobs and

Wait, they haven’t actually titled the movie Sonic 3 And Knuckles, have they? Because that would be fantastic.

I was annoyed for a moment, but then I realized the famous club in Disney World is Club 33, not Club 88. Yeah, not a great look. Should have changed the name to Infestation 33.

This is less extreme than the theory I heard from the Castle Super Beast podcast, which is that Cloud will die in place of Aerith.

Justin McElroy said it best. The only Lie of P is the Lie that I’ll get to Play it. I’m still in the first act of Baldur’s Gate 3, haven’t gotten to touch Armored Core 6 yet, and Cyberpunk 2077 comes out of early access in like, a week.

The best and most believable explanation I’ve heard is that Charles Martinet’s job as Mario Ambassador is to not voice Mario parodies that Nintendo thinks will devalue their brand. Keeping him on payroll is a way of making sure he never ends up broke and desperate for gigs.

Nintendo has never been Nintendo. Nintendo would like you to believe Nintendo is Nintendo, but Nintendo hasn’t been Nintendo since the newest Nintendo was the Nintendo. And frankly, Nintendo probably wasn’t even really Nintendo then, either.

It’s an RTS on console. It doesn’t really need any more than that. I l0ve Pikmin aesthetically, but I’m entirely incapable of enjoying it. Same goes for Starcraft, Age of Empires, etc. I could barely break into the moba craze where you generally only control a single unit.

You know, maybe when you buy a company that was founded due to venture capitalists ruining all of the alternatives, you just have to live with not making very much money off of it.

I’m reserving judgement until I see just how closely they’re following the original. If it’s a scene for scene remake where they’ve just rebuilt the game in a new engine? Yeah, that sucks, and I’m not going to play it. If it’s a more total  reimagining of the game, then I’d be more accepting of them wanting to adapt

It’s not even just in creative fields. Even in many technical fields, you eventually run up against a wall where your options are to stagnate or begin spending your time managing people who do the job you’d rather be doing.

It sounds like he’s been waiting all this time for Tong to become available, since he already knew him and trusted that he’d be able to handle the job and do so without turning the company into a soulless profit center.

I’m over 30 and have a deep affection for the series. But at the same time, I was writing articles about animatronics and watching hours of videos on animatronic maintenance and operation leaked from showbiz pizza and Chuck E. Cheese in the years leading up to the first FNAF game, so I may be a bit of an anomaly.

It’s not a livestream, really. I mean, it is, but it’s more akin to a radio station on youtube with a little animated loop in the background.

Aw, man. I’ve never felt so clickbaited in my life. You had me thinking footage had resurfaced.

Someone’s been supping on the Long Long Slop Stream.

This makes sense. They just announced that they’re finally producing enough PS5s to meet demand, even if they aren’t all shipped out to where they need to be yet. Despite a lot of consumer whining, I really can’t blame Sony for putting everything out on the PS4 as well, considering lots of potential customers still

I mean, it’s not going to be free. You can display ads for the lifetime of the car and not recoup the total costs, I imagine. But I can absolutely see ad-subsidized cars in the future. That’s already how Amazon sells TVs with their OS on them so cheaply. We’ll probably see the bottom-tier version of this car cost

I mean, the in-game explanation is that you prove yourself worthy of commanding them by earning badges. I guess in-universe, it’s a much more impressive feat than it is as a game mechanic.

Why aren’t there any actual pictures of the Quaxly evolution in this article?
