I ultimately agree. But shows can evolve over time and things can shift from where they started, look at the U.S. Office for example and how different those characters feel between season 1 and 2. Granted these are on the complete opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of productions, but I still think that the show

For many of us, this was our first time experiencing adult Japanese animation

Here in the states, Adult Swim’s anime lineup in the early 2000's had a lot to do with it gaining popularity here. But at that point the show would have only been about 5 or so years old.

I really wish they had at least one more season to find themselves. I can’t side with the “worst thing ever” crowd, as I had fun watching this myself and thought Jet was done incredibly well. I liked the banter between the crew and some of there narrative changes. There was a alot that I took issue with, primarily

Would you be mad at me if I said that I thought it looked no different than those ICEnhanced GTAIV videos from years back? They were more or less conceptual as well.

A friend of mine actually went this year and I’m waiting on his impressions of the entire thing. But as someone watching at home who lost interest completely midway through, I can’t imagine how 3 hours uninterrupted advertising must feel.

Can’t wait to see how they, Activision Blizzard, spin this one, and after the flak received last week, how Geoff Keighley reluctantly makes some statement on stage before returning back to shilling hard for the industry tonight. It’s a god damn shame how unionization in that type of work is blocked left and right and

Ok Olsen Twins, time to make it personal...

No no no! See, it’s different because he is madly in love with Kojima and stops short of satisfying him on stage in front of everyone, despite desperately needing to remind everyone how much this man means to him. That, and Konami isn’t going to be hurting his wallet anytime soon.

That and emblems. I hate that can’t use the same Plus Sign/Double Crescent emblem I’ve had for over a decade now.

Both great pizzas. Big Dipper was a fun one too and I remember that one that was loaded with pepperoni. Pizza Hut of the 90s was a good time.

Good consumer.

But it is relevant, these companies take advantage of the psychology of these people and know they can keep getting away with it. “It mostly plays well and they’ll buy it anyways so we can just get the money now and fix it later.” They’ve obviously done the math and some I’ll will now doesn’t translate to big hits on

FOMO has got a grip on people. I honestly hope to chalk some of it up to age/naivety, but I know full on grown people who know better that can’t get themselves beyond the idea that it is ok to wait for something. But at the same time, the industry has kind of weaponized the idea that if you don’t jump in day one,

Let us also not forget that they showed NOTHING regarding the game itself until a couple of days prior. And that was majority through streamers, and not officially.

Unfortunately in some ways they did. They’ll always have an army of people ready to ignore everything on its face and defend them blindly, as if they are indebted to a corporation.

The original versions should have never been delisted to begin with. They can spin it all they want via a press release apology, but at the end of the day, you expect more from a company that claims the series is special to both them and us. I hate being a cynic when it comes to this industry sometimes, but this was

Even trying to join an existing game was confusing. Didn’t even notice the big, greyed out Play button. I assumed the gamelist would have allowed me to pick a type of playlist I wanted and gone from there. Spent an embarrassingly long amount of time wandering before I figured it out. I enjoy the franchise as a whole,

It’s not a matter of it existing. It’s the fact that it’s become the focus and the norm. I think the charm of these games are fading when everything feels like the same thing just presented a bit differently.

What else did anyone think was going to happen when they announced it as FTP?
