And just like that, Game of the Generation.
And just like that, Game of the Generation.
It makes me wonder, did not one QA or play tester catch that? It’s not like it’s an occurrence so rare that most players wouldn’t come across it. The state is surrounded by water?
Exactly. What gave each city its distinct feel (mostly because of color and atmospheric effects) is completely missing. I still remember the first time I took a plane I wasn’t allowed to yet in LS early in my original playthrough and flew it up out of the city. It genuinely felt I was getting higher and higher with…
And yet that fog added to the atmosphere of making something arguably small still feel like a cross-state endeavor. That feeling is completely gone now and the entire thing feels hollow as a result.
Video poker in that game is a CURSE. But the Horse Racing exploit makes it managable.
Yeah, I don’t use my Smart TV features, especially with YouTube. Everything always feels slow. But, I have noticed that if I cast through the app to my ChromeCast instead, that I rarely get actual interruptions. It’s my preferred method if I want to watch something on my TV.
I know AdBlock Plus has an extension on Safari but I rarely use it. I use both ABP and Ublock on my PC though. It makes this website much more navigable too.
I feel no shame in using AdBlock for that shit. It’s getting a bit out of hand, given the frequency and length, and how more and more of them are unable to be skipped. If I want to watch a minute long trailer, I shouldn’t have to sit through a 2 unskippable 30 sec ads of products I don’t care or need just to get to it.
Not necessarily. I feel like every release since RDR1 has had official gameplay series videos with a narrator discussing features, etc. Max Payne 3 had a few, RDR2 had a few, I even think Table Tennis had some demonstrating the RAGE engine at work. Here’s GTAV’s for example:
Having watched those videos, and the general lack of anything substantive about these upcoming releases a couple days away, I’m convinced they used that version as the basis for the new remaster and that we’ll be seeing some similar videos in the coming weeks. I think wait and see should be everyone’s position with…
Yes and no. I don’t quite remember the website itself, but I used to visit RadioZelda.com almost daily as the game was being promoted and may have stumbled into it here or there. I do remember the kid who was playing the game though, and the pod like atmosphere he was doing it from.
Let us never forget it’s amazing ad campaign too that really captured the ominous dread the game was conveying. Between this and and the magazine ads...man, it burned into my memory.
Is Control through their launcher or EGS?
So we’re finally accepting this man as the snake he is?

Steam is a success today because they offered a service in competition with piracy. Nintendo likes to plug it’s ears and continue to deliver low-effort content and you people think that they are entitled to the money just because. When they deliver a better product at a good value, they’ll get my support.
I remember almost using that top down angle exclusively (while turning off trails) as it was the only way for the game to run a stable framerate and be playable on my PC the year the game was released, saving the traditional view for edgy screenshots. Much like GTA2, that i played a ton when I didn’t own a PS2 and the…
you say this but they literally did the work to get them working properly on PC which is this collection.
XIII’s “definitive” edition was an insult.
Rockstar spent years release patches (or relist the games with the inferior mobile versions) to remove music than instead releasing patches to get these games, that people spent money, running well without the need of community mods. That’s the insulting part of all this, that they continued to sell these games in a…
