I am not a fan of unlocking, it’s daunting, and it’s annoying have to play as people you have no interest in playing. An easy alternative? For Smash mode have everyone unlocked. For every other mode, require unlocks. Party peeps get to party. Grinders get to grind.

I feel like they tweaked matchmaking too. I tried several times on Tuesday and was paired with sub 600 people (as a 600). I tried last night as a 606, and got matched with a 608 and 610, we almost beat it first try. Unfortunately matchmaking breaks you up immediately on a loss...so there was no second try.

Awesome thanks. I did a little more digging and saw that IGN touched on it a little, mentioning that you can move the Switch around to move the camera, or you can use the right stick/a button. There was a warning about trying to keep the Switch still, otherwise it defaults to handheld motion.
