I sort of like Rockstar’ strategy with GTA V. It may look like the Story Mode made the game, but I think it is rather the online. So maybe games will shift towards that, with strong online components and gameplay and a story thrown in as a bonus.

It’s oddly hypnotic though, I find. Other hard games often produce a lot of swearing... but with Devil Daggers, I find myself in an odd, calm sort of state. I’m *expecting* to lose, it is inevitable; unlike Bloodborne (or in my case, DS1 and 2), there is no completion. No victory. Just the satisfying way the skulls…

Well..you’re wrong. Plenty of people are playing this, practically the entire Giant Bomb staff loves it and the leaderboards are dense with players.
