Can you make everyone wear masks? lol
Yikes! Does everyone look like this?
Things are only “worth” what people are willing to pay for them.
Er, yeah, so PSN needs to take a page out of Gog.com’s book. Few weeks ago I bought Baldur’s Gate 1&2, planescape, both neverwinters, Icewind Dale 1&2, Pool of Radiance and a bunch of other shit for about $22. This is like a year’s worth of recreation.
Or perhaps you’re just miserable for no reason.
Think you might be confusing “romanticism” with “deconstructionism.” Witcher series isn’t a romantic look at medievalism. It’s an inversion of that sort of thing.
Hmm. What about former Final Fantasy fans who haven’t liked a game developed by Squex Japan game since 2006? Not counting Cavia’s wonderful Nier.
If Kojima, Fils-Aime, Moore, Hauser and a hand-picked representative from Valve are the sorts of people that are on your advisory panel, you could consider every person alive and not find a similarly qualified woman who agrees to be part of the process.
Fucking incredible
There’s also an advisory board of game designers and executives—such as Hideo Kojima, Peter Moore, Reggie Files-Aime—who shape The Game Awards....
You have no idea what you’re talking about. That you’re referencing something that happened in England to make a point about Poland underscores that pretty substantially.
Moors? Jesus. The Moors were from Western Africa. Their relationship with Europe is that they occupied parts of Spain. Poland is in Northeast Europe. It has no southern port and is as distant from Spain as it is from Mesopotamia.
Geralt himself could be viewed as a metaphor for transexuality, but I guess that’s not good enough for the outrage brigade.
“I do think that the Witcher games have an advantage for having the same protagonist each game.”
Great article. Gonna have to disagree about the supporting cast, though. Most of Inquisition’s cast can be summed up in a sentence (not the bald, elf, though). Witcher’s felt more complicated and imperfect. Capable of playing against stereotype without creating dissonance in their characterization.
Refresher. You responded to this
Lot of thought police reading this article, I suppose. Or perhaps just a bunch of guilt-ridden white folks who overcompensate and absent-mindedly advocate authoritarianism in a misguided and contradictory attempt to prove their open-mindedness to strangers.
Read his comments a little closer. Not just in this article, everywhere.
No, it’s not. People experience media for different reasons. Some for abnegation. Fantasy.
It’s not up to you to decide what smi1ey (or anyone else, for that matter) needs for immersion. That varies person to person, culture to culture.
