@Deanb: Now now, puns like that will make some people go postal.

Does it make me a Japanophile that I knew this was going to be about Kyoto just by looking at that map?

10$ is less than what I eventually would of spent on the game in a Japanese arcade.

Not a big fan of Eva but I miss konbinis. <

@Luke Plunkett: We need to ask Ashcraft if the Japanese Kotaku community is as awesome as the international one.

These also come with a knife so you can cut yourself, bleed all over your figures and play out Dragon Age cut scenes.

@N-Robes: Making fun of harem anime, robot anime and moe using PvP characters.

JSR, so much better than the simplified sequel.

Remember, as long as the nipples are covered, you're not naked.

Vote: Zune Pass

@AncientUnknown1: Depends on the country. In some, like mine, people never bought their PS1 or PS2 games. Well, they bought them but they were pirated copies. How piracy friendly a console is changed it's adoption rate.

As of today I am banning Custers Revenge in my home!! I will also warn everyone I know. This way kids will not know of the games existence and try to find it online.

@GenRedLeader: Definitely check out nauticalland's suggestions when you can.

I remember this game. It was like something from the future. I never finished it though.

I never did. Actually, I don't trust any Japanese game reviews. Or anime for that matter. Even if some of them believe this stuff was made for Japanese and foreigners shouldn't be playing/watching them in the first place.

The first one is still the best.

@Thut: It's definitely one reason. Even the Japanese gamers have that problem. Outside of Japan there are gamers who play everything. Japanese gamers who play non-Japanese games are rare. The Japanese word that refers to Western games is insulting.

@rainofwalrus: It just pisses me off when people say "the West has finally caught up". There's no excuse for that kind of ignorance.

@GenRedLeader: PC RPGs have had story and character. What you saw in Mass Effect was already done in the late 90's.
