@Gobiasomecoffee: Yeah I'm glad someone besides Tyler Perry is making movies featuring black people, but surely someone out there has an original script. It does look kind of funny though.

So my two possible readings of this are: crazy stalker cucumber lies in wait, terrifying woman OR woman is having an affair with cucumber and is surprised when her husband interrupts them. I'm guessing they are going for the second one? Like, husband, don't take a backseat to a vegetable. Get a cock ring!

I've been trying to get to the root of my feelings on this whole affair, and I think the reason I've been wanting to give Sandra the benefit of the doubt (though I would never demand that others do the same) is because as a black woman the most heartbreaking experiences I've had with racism are the ones that come from

Man, these matchups are really just proving how ignorant I am about the way people view baked goods. Blueberry pie is my go-to dessert. Carrot cake is like a hug from a lovely grandmother. And now I'm finding out.... most people prefer ice cream? Most people can stomach an entire piece of cheesecake (ugh, good for

@fromaggi: Seriously. I was getting a bit defensive yesterday thinking, "well people may be defending Bullock for various reasons, but it's not like anybody here is saying James isn't a racist." Welp, I was sure proved wrong.

@Trulymadlyme: I would guess it remains ignored because most people, no matter how progressive they are, probably have someone in their lives who is racist or homophobic or classist or whatever, and most people are probably uncomfortable acknowledging or dealing with that fact. I'm in an inter-racial relationship

@kaiwhakamarie: I'm happy Des is back but I was so sure it would be Walt!

@Rooo sez BISH PLZ: I don't think anything I've written indicates that I'm not open to debate. My comment was a general comment about bad men. It was based on my experiences working with woman and children. I'm not white, and my comment was not specifically about white people, which is why I questioned the cartoon.

@Rooo sez BISH PLZ: That's oversimplifying things. However, I don't want to get into the topic of predators because it would probably stray too far off topic.

I have no idea whether Sandra Bullock is a racist, but I think most sociopaths and psychopaths are probably REALLY good at hiding who they really are from people, even close family. I've done some work in child abuse/child welfare advocacy, and this kind of thing sort of reminds me of the women who can go years

Nice, and yet she's still the ideal hour glass shape. I won't feel validated until I see some pear-shapes out there! Pears with short little legs.

@Nostrovia: Hm, I wonder what it says about me that the first couple times my boyfriend looked like he was going to say it and then didn't, I was actually relieved. I was happy when he finally did say it though! And I eventually returned the sentiments.

@curiousgeorgiana: I hated law school reading... but I actually kind of miss it now that I'm an unemployed attorney. Soul crushing unending boredom is worse.

@cinematheques: I was so. mad. at those judges for that. Their behavior was just gross. I like that Jonathan's model stood up for him, but a little peeved that he then decided to ditch her.

like Ross, the most annoying character from Friends, I don't like ice cream. It's too cold! So I guess I'm going to have to go with spice, having never even tasted it.

@dismantledwoman: Ok, that I agree with. I'm just going to keep hoping that the reforms coming out of this administration will include things like an amendment to the Fair Housing Act to protect against discrimination based on sexual orientation.

@sterlingsilver36: cheesecake is just too rich for me. If it were just me voting, blueberry pie would win the whole thing.

@windupbird: I recently read an interesting article about this. It was how the gay rights movement used to be more about how everybody should be more accepting of all different kinds of people. And now the fight for marriage seems basically like the right for for certain gay people, the ones who fit into this two

@dismantledwoman: But by Sarah's logic, you are complicit in all that just by continuing to live in that state and paying taxes to the government that makes bad laws. Which I don't think is true. It's terrible that gays can't get married, but my refraining to get married doesn't help the situation any. Just like
