@want-to-be-in-LA: It really is a pretty stupid position to take. If you boycott a country club they lose profits. If enough people do it the club either has to shut down or change its policies to avoid boycotts. If you boycott marriage then.... what? How does this change anything? Are politicians going to care

@Brunette Bookworm: I've read several explanations for what "begs the question" really means and I'm still not sure I understand it so I just avoid these kinds of phrases...

Where was Richard being taken to be a slave? Australia?

@fridaphile: Me too, and around the same age. Also became allergic to plumbs, peaches... pretty much all pit fruits around that same time :(

I exercise every day because it's the ONLY way I can stick to a routine of exercising. If I say I'm going to do it 5 days a week I'll be all, "oh I'll go five days but I'll start tomorrow." Then the next day it's like "well I'm all tired, maybe I'll just to 4 days this week. Yeah I'll do 4 days in a row." And so

@huv123: Well, yeah but... staying out of the sun and wearing sunscreen won't prevent me from getting breast cancer, but I do it to help prevent skin cancer.

@Dinkenesh: Some fruitcake is good! I made figgy pudding for Christmas this year with fresh figs soaked in brandy and I've been craving it again ever since.

@asha: Yeah, I HATED Walt's Mom. She, the woman who took her son away from his father and went off to Amsterdam and immediately shacked up with someone else, had the nerve to say Michael was selfish for wanting to be in his son's life. I really just wanted to smack her for that.

@Norma Neufner Lady Officer: Maybe the absence of Jacob's influence and/or Richard's mainland visits has somehow affected Anthony Cooper's life in a way that makes him wait a few years before traveling south to con people.

@kaiwhakamarie: Some commenter on some blog, maybe Alan Sepinwall's, reminded me that Kate's mom was abused by Kate's fake step/actual bio dad, which I thought kind of adds even more weight to the scene and how Kate might now perceive Mocke (especially given how she hated her dad enough to kill him).

When Charlotte was "looking for a tee shirt" it looked to me like she was searching with real purpose so I thought at the time that she was looking for something specific (maybe something Miles had told her to look for). But they didn't address it so I guess I was wrong. Did anyone else think it looked suspicious

I'm 26, 27 in a few months and I don't mind taking my birth control pill in public. If I'm in public when it's time to take it, I go for it. While the fact that I take it does imply that I have sex, the actual taking of it doesn't seem any more intimate to me than popping a mint or a piece of gum in my mouth.

I object to calling these women "normal" (what is normal anyway?) but I don't see why they can't be curvy. They look curvy to me. To me curvy just means they have curves. However, I don't think celebrating curvy bodies (indicating that these women are more womanly than women with more angular bodies) is a

@lizdexia: I agree. I feel like if we're going to object to the term "baby killers" used by some pro-lifers, we probably shouldn't imply that women would turn to infanticide if denied the right to an abortion.

This is surprising. I feel like all I'm seeing now is wavy hair. Long waves. I've been trying to reproduce this look with my super curly springy hair by putting in a ton a gel while the hair is still wet, making four or five braids, letting it dry in the braids, and then taking the braids out. Now if I want to

I'm not sure why there's objection to the use of the word "curvy." I feel like they're just making a distinction between an hour glass type shape and the more flat chested slim hipped aesthetic that seems pretty prevalent in models. Not saying that either body type is better than the other, but I do see a difference.

I'm kind of scared of gyms, which is why I LOVE that my apartment building has its own fitness center, open 24 hours so I can sneak down at midnight when nobody's around and do my pre-bedtime workout. Now that I'm spoiled on this I don't think I can ever go back to the gym membership lifestyle.
