I get what you’re saying, but it (for the most part) still only benefits the dealership by doing that.

Just as an example, I got my $47K SHO for under 40 between incentives and A plan pricing. Dealerships don’t “make” money (maybe in financing-depending on person’s credit) and they get a check directly from Ford to

They aren’t going away...dealership owners and mega dealership owners weld too much political power to allow States to change their franchising laws to allow it. I can see issues both ways, but I’ve only seen dealerships (or at least salespeople who work for them) argue for keeping the way things are now. I’m a big

Given the fact that the US is just about double the size of the EU...its lot easier to have a great train system if you’re roughly the size of Washington state with 82 million people living in it aka Germany. Then again the Autobahn sucks there at times because you don’t have alternative routes and if there is a bad

So...how much more unsafe is a 2005 Ford Five Hundred vs a 2015 Ford Taurus? Given the advances in crash protection over the past 20-30 years...there really isn’t that much more that can be improved upon vs cost/weight with cars that have been made in the past 10-15 years.

The major reason car dealerships suck (well most of them) is the franchising laws that dealerships have with state governments. This makes them into major political players and prevents Automakers from doing direct sales to clients (well 99% of them and Tesla is being beat up by them in some states) and makes it much

The issue my wife and I have that gets really awkward is people asking you at work (or people you don’t know directly) if you have kids or going to have kids and then you explain your wife is a cervical cancer survivor (she was diagnosed about 8 months after we got married) and that makes them feel bad for asking and

This stems from Silicon Valley trying to expand their markets..that why you see this big push for AI and self driving cars...the current IT market is mature with little room for growth or potential. What they fail to realize is that people’s experiences with electronics that they’ve developed over the past 20-30 years

I actually did that years ago on the Parkway in New Jersey. I was driving home from North Jersey and it was about 2Am...didn’t even know I fell asleep. Scared the living shit out of me. Didn’t crash and I was wide awake the rest of the way home, which was thankfully only 10-15 minutes.

Old school Mustang guy here. That got beat hard with the ugly stick. They have been getting uglier since 2012.

I find it the opposite...”ugly” cars look better in lighter colors than dark colors.

The problem is the Camaro was a brand new platform vs MCE like the Mustang is. All I’ll say is it looks a lot better then the stuff leaked yesterday

From what I’ve heard from employees’ there isn’t a special ID badge that identifies where you work...so this guy could have been a janitor or something. He wasn’t saying anything new that anyone hasn’t been following this doesn’t know already.

No, But I get Ford Employee discounts...she’s just kinda cheap LOL

The ROW Ranger is basically 8/10ths scale F-150 with a regular cab. Making a small pickup would be unprofitable and not to mention if your over 6ft tall, a major PIA to fit into. I know I can’t fit into regular cab Ranger comfortably...Super Cabs I have no problem.

Some people don’t like car payments or aren’t car fans like most people who come here. My wife loves her 2010 Escape with 150K miles and rather put a new engine in it then have a car payment. I told her it doesn’t really work that way...that 4-5K you dump into a new engine replacement turns into another 2-3 for a new

As for styling, when asked if the new Bronco would take cues from Broncos of yore, the Redditor said “Not really, both vehicles will be based on current production models,” referring to the SUV and the new Ranger.

The Mustang’s interior nor its quality aren’t craptastic anymore. People get too hung up on brand names that help make them feel superior to someone.

Physical size doesn’t really explain what size category a car falls in...its based on interior capacity. Thats why a “full-sized” car like the Taurus barely feels like one because the interior is so tight on it and the Accord becomes a fullsized car without the sunroof.

Can you prove that adding vertical height actually weighs more then adding horizontal length?

I know the BMW 3 and 2 are on the same platform and one is a couple inches shorter then the other..but the weight savings is negligible between them.

Actually the Flex is about an inch shorter...for some reason my post got pulled...the Flex is 201.8 inches and the Taurus is 203 inches long. The Flex does have a longer wheel base.
