OK, I have more for you and there are so many problems with your post. Where do we start?

I remain in thrall of Heath Ledger’s portrayal of the character in The Dark Knight. I say his lines to myself at random times because I’m a sheep.

For those less inclined to sit through 59 hours and 7 minutes of Marvel movies, in New York, they’re showing at AMC Lincoln Square The Dark Knight Trilogy in IMAX 70mm! You can sit through 8 hours of amazing DC movies! I think it’s next Saturday. Why did they pick the 2nd week of April, during the “summer” movie

Pfh. A 59 hour (and 7 minute) marathon of MCU movies. Try making it through one 2 hour+ sitting of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice. That will really test your restraint and resiliency!

I love this. Their solution is to charge a commuter tax, which no one really wants to pay. And the commuter tax is to prop up the oh-so-efficient MTA. Yeah..we all know where the extra money will be going. Anyway, less drivers on the road = more people commuting by bus, subway, and rail, which will probably put more

Is it an April Fools Joke that Cadillac is still around?

Capitalism is amazing. Start-ups are amazing. The founders all have the same goal and don’t let anyone tell you different: Make a shit load of money by going public or get bought by a bigger company and cash-in. That’s it. Maybe some start-ups make it big on their own with private investor money and a shit load of

There’s still too many things in the driver cluster area. I need an “even more mindful” mode. Remove everything but the blue background and MPH gauge. Ah, fuck it, remove the MPH gauge, too. Just a blue background with nothing on it.

V60 T6. T8 (“plug-in”) has even more power but not available in North American markets.

Whatever happens with FCA, it’s hard to believe Chrysler and Dodge will stay afloat as brands. Kill them off. It’s time. It’s pretty clear FCA is looking for a permanent dance partner. I can’t imagine any company who acquires them continues Chrysler and Dodge. They’re brands of yesteryear. Could those two be revived?

No way they can screw this up.

Oh my god. What a fascinating and horrifying tale all at once. I don’t know what to say that’s serious. So I’ll say something not serious and kind-of dark humor-ish.

Woa. Care to share the story? If you can’t or don’t want to, that’s fine, but I might as well ask.

Cheaper, yes, but I also have expensive taste. I just don’t like to be in the crowd that wants a German car. Everyone wants an Audi, BMW, or MB. Not me. I want to be different and stand out, or at least feel that way. And with my current luxury ride, I most definitely do.

The new Volvo S60 was released late last year, so that gets a break. The S90/V90 has had a full model year. Sedans aren’t selling that well, in general, and the S90/V90 is very much an alternative luxury sedan, which is probably why I like it. I like to zig when others zag and vice-versa.

Looking very much forward to the debut. Lincoln is always in the same spot every year at the NY Auto Show so it’ll be easy enough to find them. Thanks to Lincoln’s new design language, I’ll be cross shopping them come next car and I’m not a Ford guy at all so well done grabbing my attention.

1st Gear: Great write-up! Feels that way, right? Just dump Chrysler and Dodge. No one will miss them. Electrification is likely spurring on all this merging, as well. A lot easier to meet these aggressive milestones when everyone is marching to the beat of just one drum (who you talkin’ about, Willis?)

(There are much smaller competitors in all of these fields, but those are exceptions, not the rule, and if you come at me with some “but MY phone runs on Symbian!” shit I’ll throw you out a window.)
