Most of the reaction in the city is negative. Popular opinion here, where we already went through a bureaucratic nightmare in the Big Dig, is that this is going to be similarly ugly.

Are they going to expand it further? A few of the games from my ancient NEC 286 are on here but some key ones are missing (Crystal Caves, Duke Nukem, Cross Country USA). Would love to see them all go up.

I'd say this year pretty well established Greg as my favorite writer in this group. The articles on Ferguson (and the country as a whole) and Landon Donovan were probably the two I most enjoyed, plus the piece on Derrick Gordon which I'm probably a little biased about.

Someone in this thread has said I'm mistaken, which I may be, but William Bulger — Whitey's brother — was indeed the President of UMass from the mid-90's to the mid-2000's. It looks like him to me but maybe I'm wrong.
