Ahhh my childhood, that show was awesome.
I'd be concerned about JRPGs using it, wasn't it recently stated that FFXIV's first iteration failed because they focused on graphics instead of gameplay? That's why I love that Bravely Default came out on 3ds, they didn't have to worry so much about making it super pretty but more about the actual meat of the game.
Lacks in efficiency

The composition closely resembles the Final Fantasy "Prelude"—if it's not, you know, simply that song. However, Uematsu isn't calling the song "Prelude" and is giving it another title: "Ise no Isuzu no Mori no Miya" (いせの いすずの もりのみや) or, loosely, "The Wooden Shrine of Ise's Isuzu."
