I didn’t know until today that Lenny Kravitz and Naomi Campbell were an item. They are blindingly beautiful together. It’s not fair to the rest of us mere mortals.

I mean she has her art history degree from St. Andrews, which is a pretty great university, so I’m assuming her thought process is a bit more complex than “is it pretty.”
Looks like two pretty interesting conversations are going on and Harry is just hardcore 5th wheeling it in his little chair.
I *love* that Jez has covered this. Harris Wofford is truly one of the great American treasures, and no one knows about him. He got JFK to pick up the phone and call Coretta Scott King and offer support while MLK was in jail, and probably contributed to him winning the election. He shaped the Peace Corps- which is…
It’s a little weird but who cares? And the fact that they’ve been together for 15 years kind of speaks to the fact that it isn’t just a boy toy situation.
Run for office. There is literally no way you actually misunderstood that one.
I am clearly not fat-shaming him, dude. I am shaming him for dressing like a nerd.
As a mom of a child with autism I find it mind-boggling that parents of non neurotypical kids jump on the anti-vax wagon. Because the message of the whole movement is: “It’s better to risk the life of your child than to wind up with one with autism”. It’s so unbelievably disloyal to your children. My son is perfect…
My best friend, a white woman, got dreadlocks way before we were woke on cultural appropriation (in high school of course), and she actually didn’t look terrible in them. But when we both learned about cultural appropriation she started the process of brushing them out that week because she felt so shitty about them.
They are box braids. There’s nothing unusual about those braids. They just aren’t very common on white girls, which might be why some people think they are unusual.
Also, it’s a fucking fast-fashion clothes store. They pay minimum wage and sell hotpants and bustier tops. They’re not really in the position to require a full skirt suit and a neat bun.
The only real way I can see braids being unprofessional is if they are some full on Hit Me Baby One More Time school girl type of shit. Other than that, they typically look very sleek and professional without being boring like a typical ponytail.
I feel like anything that is neat and clean is professional. Bright dies may be too much for places like law firms and financial institutions but IMO as long as the color is well maintained it can still look professional.
Last week one of the girls from Teen Mom made headlines when she had her hair styled into dreadlocks. As soon as there was an outcry that this was cultural appropriation the masses of the internet came out to say there’s no such thing as cultural appropriation/ she was just admiring black culture/ PC culture has…
Former Zara employee here, three years removed thank god. Part of their business model is to have as few employees as possible on the sales floor. So the store will always look like shit and the employees do not have the fucks to give good customer service.
Her hair looks cute. I'm not seeing the unprofessional because it looks neat and clean to me. I think braids are professional.
As someone who has been to Zara locations, a few of them in Toronto, (Yorkdale and Eaton Centre, specifically), WTF kind of ‘clean, professional’ look are they going for? Each location I’ve been in has always been TRASHED, and the employees are running between assisting customers and answering the phones. Looks to me…
goddamnit.
