So basically SNL just needs to do reverse casting for the entire administration. I guess I’m gonna have to start recording SNL on my DVR now.

Denton, TX here. We’re not locked in on a neighborhood but I’m thinking anywhere from Arvada to Erie on the West to Northwest side of the city. I don’t really have to buy a new vehicle since I have a Grand Cherokee 4x4 and Porsche Cayenne but I’ve always wanted a Wrangler Unlimited and I can justify it now.
Andrew, you should definitely write that post. I would suggest that you look at it from a few different use cases. For instance, I’m moving from Texas to Colorado where I expect I’ll get plenty of off road opportunities but others may want a sand capable machine for the beach or a snow capable Jeep for Alaska. I…
Question for the Wrangler herd. Would it be better to buy a loaded Wrangler like this or is it more desirable to buy a basic one and upgrade it? Also, which option is usually the more affordable?
Oh,,,,,
My hopes keep rising. We’ve had a pretty good kick off for GT, now it’s TG’s turn to SHINE!
My wife, who is Japanese, never even considered a US made car until she moved to the US. She has had a few VWs over the years but over the last decade she has had nothing but US made cars. She loves her Jeep Grand Cherokee but doesn’t think very highly of my Porsche Cayenne.
Come on Jalop, y’all need a boat page.
This had me thinking that if it takes that much energy and effort for a foot of ice penetration. Just imagine the challenge of going through miles of ice on Europa. NASA and ESA have to do that while carrying instruments and maintaining the ability to transmit data back to Earth.
I get what you’re saying brother, but I think fredgiblet ‘might’ be referring more to the busted DoD acquisition system than putting proper equipment into the hands of those that do the work like yourself. I’ve got some hope in this regard with the appointment of Maddog to SecDef and Trumps own tweets about…
OK, this is much better. The headlights are more recessed than they appear in the yellow car. You can also noticed the significantly lower hoodline. I’m still not bit on the angles being used along the bumper but it does look a lot better.
I guarantee you it isn’t the only one in the US. I see them every once in a while in the Dallas area. They always have Mexican license plates. I’m seriously jealous of those guys. Here’s one that I saw last summer in Lewisville, TX.
It is definitely high for a Jeep. I would have thought they would go for a starting price of $50K. However American SUVs typically have higher residuals than European vehicles. A Range Rover Sport is currently leasing for $749 a month after $6000 down. I bet Jeep can beat that by a decent amount.
Ordered one on Amazon and a 2nd on Target. One for me and one for my boy. I’m REALLY looking forward to March.

This is great. My son turns 5 next month. Now I get to teach him the joy’s of Super Mario.
Well, I pre-ordered through Target with express shipping. The site claims it should get it by March 2nd. I’m kinda doubtful of that but I’ll be happy as long as I get it that week. **fingers crossed**

Can we give Tim Cook the “FAIL” stamp yet? I certainly think we are past that time. While I’m no fanboi, I gave the MBP my attention back when Vista came out. I used it as my work laptop as Perot Systems, which was kinda cool and even got Perot Sr’s attention once. Even when I was at HP, I kept my MBP for home use.
The Cop is definitely in the right. I’ll grant him that. However, it is still a dick move.
At this point I think VW is just trolling us. I have no interest in their products until they actually build it.
I’ve got the lower end version of that Lifespan Treadmill desk, the TR800-DT3. My version comes without the desk. I’ve modified it a bit (removed the side rails) to make it easy to put a chair on top when I’m not walking and I’m using a power height adjustable desk from GeekDesk.
