Well, usually game development is not a one man process (it cam be, sometimes).
We use the Unity 3D engine and it is great. If you are into game development, I recommend you to try it out. It have a free version for low budget games.

Since our phones started to do more things than a regular phone (browsing full web pages, gaming, document editing and e-book reader) and we started to use the screen as an input method, rather than having an physical keyboard.
Why? It's simple, because the light from the screen will interfere with the light meter readings. Thats why.
