They’re not, like.... good. But for some reason I find them much more enjoyable than the Hunger Games. Maybe because I read those books and expected more from the movies.

I agree. Besides the fact that the humans look like they’ve been CGIed themselves, the wardrobe and (CGI) sets look very, I dunno... cosplayish.

I just watched that the other day (week). What stood out that I never noticed before were the RIDICULOUS sound effects. WHACK whoosh WHACK WHACK whish woop WHACK. Your arms don’t actually make that “woosh” sound when they swing in the air.

The original show has become such an incessant slog, I don’t know if I can handle another one.
