Agreed. Saturn was so much more than a division. It represented an effort to change the culture of GM. Ultimately, I think GM was too entrenched in the old ways to benefit from the existence of Saturn. Saab could have been the premium equivalent.

This appears to have nothing to do with tesla. The same thing would have happened in any car this guy was driving. The only difference is that nobody would know. Shitty driver. Bad jalopnik for trying to shift blame.

The driver wasn’t relying on Autopilot (which disengaged 40 secs prior, and won’t engage at more than 5 MPH over the limit). He was intentionally trying to max out his car’s top speed.

Shitting on Tesla is one of my favorite pastimes, but this isn’t a Tesla story, this is a crappy driver story. 40 seconds is a long time. 

Only Jalopnik could blame Tesla for a DRIVER driving at 130+mph. This has ZILCH to do with the car. The car did the correct thing and disengaged the self-driving when the driver was being an ass. AEB will NEVER stop a collision at those speeds.
