Most of us stopped caring about Harry Potter for the simple reason that we were no longer children getting books from the Scholastics catalog.

Should have just given 2 of them to Richard Hammond

Hammond, you idiot!

Also: DO NOT FUCKING PARK IN DISABLED PARKING SPOTS UNLESS YOU *ARE* DISABLED!

This and the 4C both would be perfect candidates for a real manual.

To me, the lack of M/T cars has pretty much dwindled my interest in new cars, all together. Contrary to the stereotype, I will certainly buy a new car, but only one that I’m truly passionate about. If it’s just a commuter or kid hauler that I’m going to dog on, Used is a much better use of my money.

I happen to have one of the very few hybrids with a manual transmission - the first generation Honda Insight. Without a doubt, the manual makes this a more fun car to drive and lets me wring the most from the tiny ICE engine and the pancake electric motor integrated into the flywheel.

That would be pretty compelling but would have to check all the boxes I want. My plan is to get another sports car as a weekend car once my truck is paid off. An ND2 is high on the list, but I would specifically want a red RF, manual grand touring model.

How about a new Miata for $7k off MSRP? That’s how I landed my ‘19 ND2. Granted, that was because it was a ‘19 that was still sitting on the lot in April of 2020. So I’m not sure if I’m really making an argument here...

Sports cars aren’t just about speed and performance. The driving experience is far more important to me than number on paper. I want to feel connected with a car, and feel that a manual transmission is necessary to do so. My truck is automatic and I’m alright with that. The truck is an appliance, not a toy.

David’s next build.

The fisherman also went on to catch one of these.

If I had the space for a track only car, requisite trailer, and tow vehicle, it would be this or a Radical.

I used to have an 06 STi back when they were new. I remember some guy was like man, you must get alot of chicks with that car eh? My response,”The only thing this car attracts is teenage boys and cops.”

I learned long ago about fun cars attracting guys, and girls are attracted to luxury cars that scream $$$.  Good advice for the singles.

The “6-speed Manual” is a pretty broad issue on car search sites. Depending on the car, of course, whenever I search exclusively for manuals, there’s always a percentage of automatics that come up. First thing I do is scroll through the pictures until I get to an interior shot in order to confirm that it truly is a

Literally zero people disagree with you.

The only reason dealers still exist is because they lobby to exist.

hey Clappy? You know you can just buy a 512 right?

The only real question. =)

I have one question.
