Holding out for a Hilux with the optional bed mounted .50 Cal package.

This discussion seems quaint in a world in which most automotive mapping applications warn you of speed traps long before you are in range.

Donald Trump has just announced that he is willing to send Ukraine military support... In exchange for 50% of that nation’s mineral wealth. How do you think that’s going to go over in Europe? The U.S. and Russia are now basically reenacting the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact of 1939 with Ukraine playing the part of Poland.

Stop worrying. It’ll change course as soon as Donald Trump renames the Indian Ocean as the American Ocean.

Yes. I suspect he's not being completely honest about what he wanted from Tesla.

My thoughts as well.

Those same dudes bought the Cybertruck. I don’t feel bad if they get harassed at all.

I suspect that by "trade" what he really meant was buy back.

LOL, yeah. I just checked and it looks like they’re trying to add $15k to the price of a stock one.

Yeah. Lithium, if I recall correctly.

FYI: 40,000 Canadian soldiers served in Afghanistan and 158 died following the Sep. 11 attacks in 2001. This is how we repay the favor and honor their sacrifice.

Nonsense. Your chauffer has fun when your trophy wife needs to “release a little tension” and asks him to “drive her to the spa” for the day... happens mostly on days when the pool boy is off and her tennis instructor is working another client.

There are parts for my 1992 Toyota MR2 that are nearly impossible to source, and that’s an enthusiast car that people treasure and companies make reproduction parts for. I can’t imagine how frustrating it would be to try and keep this unloved econobox running.

That’s sorta like Lotus in the let 90's and early 2000's. Yeah they built sports cars, but the real money maker was their engineering division. In many ways the cars were showcases for the engineering division.

Actually, believe it or not Chevy also still sells the Malibu.

I know it’s a pipe dream, but I would totally rock a base model CT4 with a manual transmission.

Yeah. I just spent a few minutes with the various auto manufacturer configurators. Only Stellantis offers nothing, basically, under $25k (nothing under $30k, really). Ford, Honda, Toyota and Mazda barely squeak under with vehicles priced at around $23k. A base VW Jetta starts under $22k. Chevy Trax under $21k, Hyundai

I’m driving my daughter’s 2016 Nissan Versa while my Jetta is in the shop. It’s not glamorous in any way, but it’s all the car 95% of people need 95% of the time.

So if I’m understanding this ad correctly, Goldilox visits some sort of clinic in the woods, undergoes gender reassignment surgery, becomes a man and drives trucks while fighting dragons? Yeah... that will go over real well with the Superbowl Audience.

Oh, please do tell us how USAID is propping up Jalopnik, for fuck’s sake.
