I had a 929 when the RC came out and always lusted after the twin, but held off due to the uncomfortable ergonomics for road use. The 929 was my favorite sportbike I ever owned, but I will always wonder what might have been...

There are other bikes I like more than the 916, but it is such an icon that there will always be a big market for it. I don’t see prices necessarily going through the roof, but you’ll never be stuck with one.
