Okay then...so you recommend this VPN service but fail to name it?

Interesting. Sunday Ticket has been the main thing keeping me from cutting the cord. My only concern is I'd imagine watching the internet stream of the games on a 120" screen will leave a lot to be desired. Not sure I'm ready to do that until internet streams are as good as the satellite broadcast.

Don't you have to prove you are unable to get Directv where you live to be able to subscribe to Sunday Ticket via PS3?

Promising. Unfortunately I don't think it's ready for more obscure music tastes just yet (which isn't the fault of the software). Hopefully more people sign up now that it's more freely available.

Believe me, I wasn't implying you should download some video camera recording of a new release. Obviously you would still have to wait for the Bluray/Vudu release.

Sure, there are drawbacks, but for around $5k you can get a really nice projector system with great sound (probably better than most theaters). Sure, the

My advice is skip the theater completely and buy the best projector/sound system you can afford.

I wish chat was more the standard, but unfortunately SMS is the universal standard that just about everyone uses. I wish WhatsApp could be the standard, but unfortunately I don't know a single person that uses it. But I wish WhatsApp had a desktop app (without having to install an Android emulator).

Yeah, I'll be very surprised if Google Tasks sticks around much longer.

Great points Falaris about GTD. I guess I'm so locked into my GTD world that I couldn't imagine using it any other way.

But you're right, GQueues blows all of those other apps away (including Astrid, Any.Do, Wunderlist, etc - I tried them all). Good support too, although I wish they updated more frequently.

I've recently started using GQueues (https://www.gqueues.com/) and can't imagine going back to anything else (and I've tried TONS). It's very GTD/Google centric, so if neither of those things is your bag, it's probably not for you. I even bought the pay version ($25/year) which gives you Google Calendar integration,

Why do you need iTunes to sync your IOS devices? I've had iPods/iPhones over the years and have never once installed iTunes and have never had any problems syncing using MediaMonkey.

Well, I suppose not if ALL you eat is meat. But I'm also part carnivore.

I just looked and it looks like there is a free version of Tonido that limits to 5 guests and 5 shares and 2GB of sync. Even the Pro is only $19/year which is still cheaper than a hosting service.

Doesn't ownCloud cost money too since you need a hosting service?

Also, I use GQueues for GTD with my Google account.

I don't know...I suppose it all depends on how you like to process your email for GTD. Personally, I like to look at everything as it comes in and decide what to do with it. However, in my personal life I don't get all that many emails to my main account that might require my attention. Work is a different story

I don't know...I tried Priority Inbox once a while ago (and gave it ample time to adjust to my habits), but I found it counterproductive to the GTD philosophy.

Yikes.

Game. Set. Match.

I tried MailStore a couple of years ago and remember liking it, but also remember not liking something about it that caused me to move on. I wish I could remember what it was. I think it had something to do with the way it restored.
