I completely disagree with your #1. We followed the Baby Wise philosophy (http://amzn.com/1932740139) - parent directed feeding, and our daughter was basically sleeping 6-8 hours through the night within the first month. And while I have no proof of it, part of me is convinced it is the reason she is so well behaved

Yeah LED still isn't quite ready for prime time. They are still better than those horrible CFL lights though.

I lost 25% of my body weight over the last 16 months (and have managed to keep it off) without exercising much more than I already was (3-5 times/week, no more than 30-40 mins each time). I've found that the biggest key to keeping weight off is avoiding sugar and a distant second is carbs. After starting out on a

I agree. How long have we been waiting for an improved Google Tasks? With all the other task apps out there now Google Tasks is like using Hotmail.

The Southwest seats recline I'd say a good 5-6 inches. It doesn't bother me that much when the person in front of me reclines...it's a bit annoying if I'm using the tray for something like a tablet or laptop, but I won't do it myself because that's not how I roll.

As someone who would never even think about reclining my own seat on an airplane, I would never dream of doing something like this to the person in front of me. Please no one else do this.

8 years ago, right before the HDMI craze started, I bought a $3k preamp. No HDMI ports at all. I can connect my Directv receiver and HTPC directly to the two HDMI inputs on my projector. So while it would be nice to have them on the preamp, I don't really need them. And I can still run the audio through the preamp

I was aware of that. And someone else pointed that out as well. The problem is then you're stuck watching the games via internet stream, which is much lower quality (and very prevalent on my 120" screen).

I would love to cut the cable (in my case Directv), but there are two things preventing me from doing that:

I got a great deal on an Ooma device about a year ago so we've been using that and couldn't be happier. It's about $4/month (you only have to pay taxes). I'm also using an OBi with Google Voice for my personal line, but I have to say Ooma is better quality-wise (and we were able to port our number).

Does it count as a clean install if I restore from an image that I created immediately after a fresh install? I like to do that every 16-24 months.

I agree. As an introvert I didn't find the article very helpful, but it certainly wasn't offensive. People need to get over themselves.

Sorry, this post brought my tab total to 10 and now I'm lost...

I'm glad you mentioned the thing about hooking you on an item and then yanking it. BJ's does that ALL THE TIME and it drives me crazy. They used to sell these really good frozen pizzas that were probably the best frozen pizzas I've had. After about a year they stopped carrying them and I haven't seen them since

I shop at BJ's but I do think it's evil. Great prices on some food and things like TP, but I always come out of there with at least $50 worth of stuff that I don't really need.

You guys are funny. I just made an observation. Not really complaining...like you said, it's free so who am I to complain? I just think it's a little deceitful because I've never seen a file limit as low as 250MB, even on free accounts.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems 50GB is borderline false advertising when there's a 250MB per file limitation. I would think anyone needing to use anything close to 50GB would have files much larger than 250MB. I guess it's a nice way to get people to their site though.
