I tend to agree, but aesthetically I think the PVC looks way better pool side.

Man I love PVC piping. Another idea to enhance this would be to put sand in the two base pipes to weigh it down and prevent any windy mishaps. To seal the sand in, just cement the end caps (obviously) and then for the T, shove some marine putty or epoxy in there - just make sure to get it down far enough to not

What are DVDs?

Ugh...how annoying is that.

I should add, one thing that would get me to switch away from XBMC would be a media center software that can do pretty much everything XBMC does, but can also play non-encoded 3D Bluray ISOs (full framepacked 3D, not the SBS stuff). Even with my current XBMC setup, if I want to play one of my ripped 3D Blurays, I

So what makes Plex better than XBMC? Not saying it isn't true but XBMC does pretty much everything I can imagine a Media Center doing, and it does it well. If there's something out there that does it better, I'm all ears.

Another tip is to set up a separate profile for your kids. I set up a profile for my 8 year old that only shows her movies/videos/music in the library. The nice thing is you can also use a different skin for each profile so you can use something like the Simplicity or Slik skin for your kids but leave your own

Pretty funny that she wants to make this impromptu steamer basket to eliminate non-essential kitchen gadgets, but proceeds to use a wire rack and rolling pin...two items I would consider less essential than a steaming basket.

I always keep a bootable flash drive with Puppy Linux on hand.

Shouldn't the headline read "Annoy your Former Boss and Co-Workers by Regularly Forwarding Useful Information"?

Ah...the many uses of the tube sock...

If I do enough reps of lighter weight, I can get the same "feel" is if I did fewer reps of heavier weight...and to that I say I'd rather do the one that takes a lot less time.

Just to clarify, I didn't say it's absolutely debunked...I just said it's been debunked by a lot of experts. I'm not qualified myself to have a strong opinion one way or the other, but common sense tells me if you don't "feel" like you're getting a good workout, you probably aren't.

This general theory has been debunked by a lot of experts. I believe the general consensus is that while more reps with lighter weight will build muscle endurance, if you can do more than 16 reps, the benefits fall off exponentially.

Does anyone know of a cloud storage service that will "stream" an audio file if I send a shared link of said file to someone? I was disappointed to see that Google Drive didn't do this - if I send a link to a shared MP3, it just allows the user do download, but not stream it. SafeSync had this capability, but then

This is the same reason I use SpiderOak. The DrobBoxes, etc have their usefulness, but to me it's so much more useful when you can just mark a folder to be synced rather than have to copy files to a preset synced folder. I would use SugarSync over SpiderOak if it would just allow syncing of network folders!

Yeah...I'm being facetious...sort of...but I do find myself semi-regularly booting up to Puppy when I need to do some type of file recovery or disk management. So I agree, running it full time is probably gluttonous...but as a tool, it's invaluable. And I'm a Windows guy (not that I'm proud of it).

Still no love for Puppy Linux?

Does the person accessing the shared link have to have a Dropbox account?
