Why are we even pretending that Kanye West and Taylor Swift are in the same league? Swift is positively a joy compared to him and his delusional, uneducated, trollish worldview.

Same. I loved the show as a teen/early 20s but I can't take it now in my 30s. She's just so fucking self-centered.

Someone let my mom borrow the whole series and we binge watched it together when I was about 18. It was okay then (2010) but, aside from being incredibly sheltered, the topics weren’t controversial or any big deal to me. It wasn’t groundbreaking because I grew up with all of that having been in pop culture.

THIS. I do think some of the relationships, sex talks and dating dynamics have held up pretty well over time (especially as a formerly single girl in NYC.). But, almost everything having to deal with sexuality and gender identity has not. It’s dated and uncomfortable.

The clothes were always cringe-worthy. No one “real” was wearing clothes like that, even back then.
