Everything is better with Carol’s face attached to it.
Had to google. Was aware of the axiom, wasn’t aware it had a name. Every day’s a school day.
I seriously do not understand people that use the “pull out method”. That’s not a method. That’s having unprotected sex and hoping for the best.
Betteridge’s Law in full effect.
I don’t believe you. No-one would spend 50 hours doing something they genuinely don’t enjoy if they aren’t paid for it. You’re either grossly exaggerating your disappointment of a game when really you clearly thought it was an enjoyable enough experience to keep playing, or on the off-chance that you genuinely did…
Unsure if sarcastic caps or not but I liked the slides.
THERES NO SLIDES AT THE END? CRAP!!!!
Yep, which is why the whole thing falls apart.
Patricia is crazy. Yes, it is the Fallout modern fans fell in love with. The core gameplay of Fallout 4 is almost identical to Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 3, Skyrim and Oblivion. If you are a fan of these games, you will love Fallout 4. The only difference is that the crafting system and the lighting is a lot better,…
Are you talking about combat encounters? Because I can understand that.
Faction disguises! That was a neat feature in NV. I remember befriending the powder gang and even a vault filled with raiders, they even gave me a quest!
Sweet another “I hate when things are different front the way I want them to be” article.
I was initially put off by the “first thirty minutes” of the game, what with ‘end-game’ level activities (power armor, group of followers, killing a deathclaw, minigun) just handed to you. I’ve since then (2 1/2 cumulative days of gameplay in) come to like the game. Issues like the race track exist, yes, and the whole…
To be fair to fallout 4, It does capture some of the moral ambiguity of older fallout games. It also definitely handle the atmosphere well, though not nearly as well as New Vegas. What fallout 4 does do amazingly is sell well, and prove the franchise IS mainstream. That might seem like a bad thing to hardcore fallout…
All of the little raider-only events and areas are so neat...but you can’t have anything to do with them...I’d hoped that dressing like a raider would let you blend in for a bit...but nope. Hopefully we can mod in faction disguises...but still should have been there from the start.
I love FAllout 4 to death, but I wish my followers were a bit more interactive, like in Dragon Age. When speaking to the Railroad, they keep asking me if i’d ever be friends with a synth, if i knew what a synth was, do i kill all synths on site? Meanwhile, Valentine is right next to me, where he’s been the last 40…
I love her but give her major side-eye for working with Woody Allen.
People tend to ascribe their own success to their effort and other peoples to circumstance. It’s a lack of self awareness similar to the third-person effect where only other people are affected by advertising.
My favorite part was the fact that the PCs wife was using Shaun (the baby) as a melee weapon.
I’ve played 2,3, New Vegas before, I just really love the world of Fallout. The whole idea of the vaults and their weird experiments is intriguing to me. Plus I like the exploration and discovery aspects of the game. It just hits all the right notes for what I like.
