He was doing a fantastic job. I've loved all BMW's until he left. Seriously, it's since 2009 that they've looked awful.
If I knew how to repair a house and crime levels were acceptable int his area, you better bet I'd buy a house there.
So what you're saying is stiffen up the Turbo S suspension?
that could have been a lot less wordy.
This is probably what happened, JC, Hammond and May all knew it was derogatory term, and they said it to be funny. Editing crew and the rest of BBC, however, did not. Editing crew is like "haha, they're making fun of how crappy the bridge is"
It's not so much they are incapable of manufacturing safe equipment, it's more they don't value safety or quality. Only quantity. It's the modern American/McDonald's idea x10.
The Integra Type R was never meant to compete with the WRX to begin with...
You seem to think that people evolve at the rate of cars, which simply isn't true. Who says you can't release a car with specs from 15 years ago? Look around, a massive amount of people are still driving cars from 15 years ago, many by choice. We covet cars like the Mazda 323F, the Honda S2000, Nissan 240SX, Mustang…
and cost considerably more than they used to as well. More HP is an easy gimmick to charge more. If you can't go fast with 200hp, you shouldn't have more.
all these companies need to bring back 200hp fighters, no BMW i8's.
who wants to buy sports cars? young people and doctors. so you either have to go up-scale (BMW i8) or down market (Scion FR-S)
Honda should not be making ANYTHING that is fighting BMW, seriously, that would be embarrassing for them.
Plus, giving…
It's not that it sounds bad, it's that it doesn't sound great, or at least not $3.7M amounts of great.
If my Celica GTS sounded like this (And keep in mind, the 2zz is one of the better, if not one of the best sounding 4cyls around) I'd be happy.
The Morgan is a tricycle.
would you consider this a car?
I know nothing of drifting, so forgive me. But the Nissan S-Chassis, considered the best for drifting, is a very sturdy chassis, no?
so wouldn't a very flimsy chassis, which I assume the F-Body is, be bad for drifting?
I like it, sue me.
EDIT: I like it until I realize how much it costs.
this should be a $25k or less car.
when you were given the idea for a new car, say the new CTS, where did you start? was it a list, a sketch? etc.
EDIT: How about the Volt, since it was a brand new model.
wait 'til you see 8.1
To what extent does comfort become a consideration in a hardcore track car like this? As an engineering team, do you guys say "Seriously, these customers are just going to have to deal with an insane amount of harshness" or do you actually try to make it a fairly comfortable ride, all things considered?
does the A3 have a longitudinal engine? I know this sounds INCREDIBLY dumb, but there is something about knowing that the engine is facing front to back that makes it cooler.
YEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS
It looks like they went back 30 years to make that interior. That's EXTREMELY surprising coming from Hyundai.
