Bagpipes!! I REALLY love the celtic touch to it! Reminded me of FF4. In the first PIECE, I could also hear some bagpipes!! This is amazing. I think I'll grab the OST even if I won't play the game! Thank you for sharing!

Music in the game is amazing everywhere and everything you do. Fahey showed mainly some of the melo chill music but there is a bunch of great intense combat music. Heres some tour videos I did while using music from those areas.
My god I love this music so far. Check this one out.
You're doing gods work, Fahey.
That's right. Turn down the sound effects volume. Mute the ambient noise. Silence the interface clicks and beeps…
When it comes down to it, most people seem to want a standard MMO with the Final Fantasy setting. Everyone knew coming into the release that it wasn't going to innovate, yet they flocked to it anyways. Not every game needs to be amazingly fresh
Apart from the server issues which are probably more due to absolutely unexpected demand (They weren't thinking it was going to be popular at all in NA/EU). The game is fantastic and there's really no issues once your ingame. So after a week or two once all the launch issues are sorted out it'll look great.
FFXIV 2.0 is an incredibly fun game. It doesn't really break any new ground, but the game itself takes standard formula's and polishes them to a mirror shine.
I LOVE YOU YOSHIDA
I am enjoying the re-launch immensely. It is obvious that so much hard work and dedication went into ARR. It's the best FF in years, and I'm upset over how some of the community are reacting to the server teething problems.
The only reason it's having as many congestion/login issues as it is, is because it's a damn good game. If I had to suffer through login queues and errors like this to get into a mediocre game, I would drop it on the spot. It's so good that it's still worth trying to get in for hours on end, if necessary.
People are going to make cracks about the game's launch or how that means it's still broken, but seriously consider what they successfully managed to do here: they took a truly broken game and pulled a switcheroo more complex and complete than Cataclysm (FFXIV 2.0 is a completely different game than 1.0) on a fraction…
The game is effing amazing, and every doubter should at least give it a shot. It's the first MMO in recent history to really grab me like. I played Rift and raided before the first expansion but it was never quite perfect to me- plus having all my gear made completely obsolete by the first new raid shattered my…
aboslutely love this fucking mmo, loved the original and love this one too, i am so glad i stuck around for this. CE 1.0 legacy here
Screw it, Once the server issues are over ( unless the European servers are fine) I'm getting this, I was in the beta but didn't like how I could only play at the weekend and kept forgetting about it.
To all people who said Final Fantasy was dead: play this game.
Just downloaded and installed it, actually. Made an SE account, and I'm in the process of updating now. Haven't run into any problem s at all, and I'm using the NA version and servers, but live in Japan!
Woohoo an article!
*Sigh* Been waiting all weekend for media sites to start preying on this.
