No prob. I'd love to make more videos like these showing off the beauty and sounds of the game but they took me like 8 hours each (made them during one of the closed Betas.) But all I want to do now is play the game.

Now playing

Music in the game is amazing everywhere and everything you do. Fahey showed mainly some of the melo chill music but there is a bunch of great intense combat music. Heres some tour videos I did while using music from those areas.

Play through the main storyline ;)

Glad to hear. Hopefully this means Kotaku will have some more coverage of the game over the next week or two.

Yes it does have fishing. It was only just recently available to play during Open Beta and now early/release. So there probably isn't much solid info out there yet. SE still has the NDA up until Tuesday so only screenshots are allowed.

I was saying to my friend during this that I'd love to see a MMO launch documentary. Primarily focused on the back end of things. The sheer chaos. Everyone expects you to solve everything at the drop of a hat.

I think GW2's auction house took about a week before it was kind of up and functioning? And maybe server queues. Pretty sure I had other lag related issues as well. I know they stopped selling copies of the game online because everything was breaking from so many people.. (sound familar?) But I guess that'd be the

It pretty much is a new MMO. Rather then take the old one back to the drawing board.. They just threw it in the garbage.

Yea and I am not saying that we should necessarily be praising SE or anything.

I do agree with the Phase 4 comment. I thought it was kinda dumb to have such a small Open Beta period but I'm no expert.

As I'm sure most gamers are aware, when you have a game that needs to do things outside of the console or PC you're on, you're going to have a bad time (durhur).

So when launch day comes for Call of Duty 8 and it has some element to the game that involves computations or verification or anything critical being handled

Agreed. Just as the person responded in my other comment, a TON of people think this game is just the same game that was released original but with some minor changes.

Not sure how much you know about it but it is really almost an entirely new game aside from some story elements and stuff.

*Sigh* Been waiting all weekend for media sites to start preying on this.

What's great here is that you accuse all these people off speaking hollow words and call it fanboism..

Hmm honestly I can't really give an unbiased view GW2. I got to the level cap and then abandoned the game from lack of interest and boredom. And last time I signed in, the game seemed pretty quiet and empty. I tell people it was a pretty cool game.. For all of like two weeks til I was 95% completion.

The issue isn't that people can't pay for it, it's that developers aren't really making MMOs that are worth paying for. The genre thrives on addiction. If the game isn't addicting then people won't continue to play it, regardless of whether it is completely free or subscription or whatever else.

Awesome. I've never even played Starcraft before and know next to nothing about its units but I just watched every episode and all were good.

Yea I hadn't heard of this til now.
