Fun fact, ICE has only existed for 15 years. In general border enforcement seems to have worked a lot better before it’s formation. All ICE has done really is create a lot of negative publicity with terrible stories and abuses caused by the fact that ICE has been divorced from most of the jobs that aren’t labeled…

ICE, an organization that’s only fifteen years old, formed in the crucible of post-9/11 anti-brown person/evil foreigner hysteria, and is explicitly racist and unaccountable in purpose and practice, cannot be reformed. How do you propose we reform a force whose explicit purpose is to hunt down and arrest immigrants…

The problem here is that you shouldn’t need a federal police dedicated to arresting immigrants.

This was a perfectly fine response. ICE should be functioning to go after immigrants who are here to commit serious crimes, aka drug running, gang activity, etc...
