Not really. As a beginner, even if you can't lift much, it's better to lift your max for a lower number of reps than it is to lift lower than your max for a TON of reps.

"I know several guys who just "weren't ready" in their late 20's despite a parade of awesome and interesting girls, then they hit their 30's and start chasing after (admittedly) awesome and interesting girls who are in THEIR early to mid-20's, while ignoring women their own age because those women seem "desperate."
Haha, maybe....
Speaking as a hetero-dude, I want to go out for drinks and bro-hug the shit out ouf Jensen Ackles from Supernatural
Well, good luck. I hope you find a way to make your relative sex drives compatible.
Yes, open and honest communication is a great ideal in intergender relations.
Have you considered an open relationship?
Need fun date ideas. First dates are always just drinks paid dutch, so that's not a big deal, but I try to make follow-up dates more creative. That said, I'm falling into a bit of a rut and end up going to the same places... which decreases the novelty for me, even with different company.
Fair enough, though in my experience it's something that women tend to do more than men, probably cause they're uninformed and unjustly terrified that high-weight/low-reps will bulk them up like Arnold Schwarzenegger.
"Arguably, women still get reduced utility during ALL mixed gender hours, while men have no period of reduced utility either during mixed gender hours or men-only hours."
How do you argue that? Are you suggesting that all men are uniformly comfortable in their own skin and have no issues with fit and/or aggressive…
That's not really fair though, depending on how far away the nearest gym is or if they have the same equipment, courses, quality, etc.
Why not simply offer the same number of hours per year as male-only gym time, and ensure that neither men nor women are paying for the hours they aren't able to use?
Doesn't that solve both issues?
Or, you know, just have equivalent male-only gym hours as well, and ensure neither gender is paying for hours they are not allowed to use with their membership.
I see your point, I'm just letting you know what the immediate, guttural reaction to hearing that kind of thing is very early in the dating process.
Just have the gym offer the same number of hours as mens-only time.
So are you saying that you agree with the woman in this article? That if women want to get married, their best bet is to do it while they're young and have a large pool of potential suitors rather than waiting to find that most men interested in marriage have already exited the market by the time they're older and…
Wanting marriage is fine.
It's an obvious trade-off for the individuals getting the mammograms. Obviously you want to find cancer as early as possible.
No they're not.
Did they break this down by gender?
