Yeah, but honestly, how average are the MEN in games? The majority of games have a pretty idealized version of men, whether they're super strong, super smart, super skilled, have magic powers, etc. Rarely will you find a CHARACTER in gaming (regardless of gender) that does a good job of representing the "average"

Most likely at the same resolution, what with the new dev kit.

Yeah I would agree with this. I really liked DA:O, but it felt a little short to me. And DA 2...they made some weird decisions there.

Yeah, they still don't get it. This is akin to "no one really plays videogames online."

I dunno, I don't really understand why people liked Skyward Sword (I love Zelda in general), but it still got/gets rave reviews. Mind you, I'm not into Twitch myself, but I'm just saying that people will have different feelings on these things (clearly).

I would imagine so; obviously I (and the others saying the same thing) could be wrong, but it doesn't really make sense to completely nerf the game offline; it would do exactly what MS is trying to avoid nowadays—Create yet more bad publicity.

Yeah I know, but without knowing exactly how, I would just imagine the server load would be larger for Titanfall, because I assume they have way more players to deal with. But who knows, maybe the amount of data being computed in Crackdown x the number of players > Titanfall's data load.

Microsoft has enough experience at this point with their servers that I would imagine Crackdown 3 isn't going to be the game that brings them down. Titanfall was the big test of their servers, and while it hasn't been absolutely flawless, in general the game runs great on their servers.

I would, yeah, but that's kind of what From Software did with Dark Souls 2. The game looks only very slightly better than the original (at least on consoles), and I never hear criticism about it.

Yeah, thanks for clarifying. I was under the assumption that Miyazaki was directly working on this one, so I wasn't necessarily assuming this was another "B-Team" project. I do prefer a medieval setting though, and I'm a little burned out on Dark Souls (or whatever) at the moment, so while that's good news, I'll

You sir, are correct. I've played the hell out of DSII, but it is definitely not on par with DSI. Maybe that's why they're moving to a different time period; they've temporarily depleted the well of ideas for a medieval setting.

If this is the case, I'm not in quite as much of a rush for this to come out. Dark Souls 2 was great in comparison to much of the stuff currently out there, but I didn't think it was nearly as good as the original Dark Souls (which is one of my all-time favorites).

One of my big issues with this type of controversy is that it really depends on the game/setting/series. While you can obviously argue that female assassins make just as much sense as males (outlaws are, by definition not guided by society), the majority of the Assassins Creed games (I only say "majority" instead of

Honestly, I'd rather have Link stay male, and just give Zelda a bigger role in the games. I always preferred her to Link in Smash Bros., so I don't see why she couldn't have that type of character-controlled role in her classic series. It'd be great if her "legend" actually involved her doing something for once.

Yeah, it kinda seems like that. They don't seem very worried about partnerships or exclusivity on a console, probably because their titles always sell incredibly well, and garner almost universal praise.

"The Master GTA Collection" includes a beta for GTAVI.

Koller is a Sony marketing guy, obviously he's going to say something good about Sony's relationship with Rockstar and GTA. And obviously, as a marketing guy, the truth of his statement isn't really important.

I really like what MS is doing this time around; they're lining up the usual AAA games (Fable, Forza, Halo, etc.), but it seems like they're finally waking up and taking a little more chance with what they pick up in terms of indie games. I know this isn't XB1 exclusive, but it's huge that 3 of the best looking (to

This thing is pretty cool, but still not a good replacement for sitting on your sofa with a controller, which I believe is what the argument usually is.

I agree with you on Xbox, I think that Bloodborne for the PS4 was also a big deal (the Dark Souls-esque game), and for those that care about Grim Fandango, I'm assuming that probably stood out for them.
