Well, I would assume that if Sony starts to feel a little pressure, they'll step their game up. So I guess cross your fingers that the recent "price cut" and upcoming games give the XB1 a boost?

Depends on who you talk to. The game is repetitive as hell, but I thoroughly enjoyed it, and still occasionally play it to this day. I'd love a sequel. It's basically a bunch of quicktime-esque action over and over, but I thought it was pretty damn satisfying.
I'm pretty sure Sony did that first. According to Wiki (because I can't remember), PS+ started in 2010 or 11, whereas Games for Gold started last year, I believe (again, had to look it up).
Ha! I started this back when I didn't do much on Kotaku, and a few months later decided I should make a full account, just haven't yet.
That's a fair criticism, but I think that ties into competition as well. If Sony and Nintendo equal MS's online infrastructure and do so for cheaper or free, we'll be able to do what the PC does. Until then...
Listen, you're preaching to the choir, but MS has stepped up their game a lot more this gen. I've always preferred XBL to PSN, but between the Game for Gold initiative they started in response to PS+ and all the other stuff they've been doing to gain ground, they feel extra open and responsive to customers right now.
Seriously, this generation is really indicative of just how important competition is. I'm a big Xbox guy (although I usually eventually get the other consoles as well), but all I have to say is, thank God for Sony. Without them I wouldn't be getting free games on my 360 and XB1, and MS probably wouldn't be working…
I second the Model 3. If all goes well, that could be the car that really makes electric take off; eco-conscious people will buy it because it saves the environment and performs well, image-conscious people will grab one because it gets good gas mileage and looks great. To be honest, my girlfriend and I needed to…
Not that I don't agree with your point, but I've known a couple people who did actually get more irritable after they smoked. I have no idea why, nor do I know why they'd smoke under those circumstances, but there it is. Not saying that's the issue with Ward, but still.
Doesn't look much like a Lambo to me, which is disappointing (I love me some Lamborghini!). And you're right, the Veneno would be a much better release (although probably not one they'd sell as many of).
Well, that depends on your defintion of "afford." I meant, if you can afford to finance it (meaning you can pay your car note + whatever other costs you have in your life). I also can't afford a house, so I rent. The difference is, at the end of "renting" this car, I'm going to own it.
This is what I'm talking about! Please don't tell me there's a logical reason to own a Lamborghini if you don't race. Cars aren't necessarily about logic; just like people buy houses with way more bedrooms than they need, people sometimes just buy the car they want, not the one that makes the most sense. I read an…
No, I'm not arguing for a lot of room, but the back seats are extremely cramped, to the point where most adults wouldn't be comfortable. Again, not saying it's a huge deal, but it's still one of my least favorite things about the interior. However, it's much more justifiable than that damn screen.
Yup, the screen in the CLAs is probably the worst thing about the interior (besides how cramped it is).
I've been complaining about this ever since I first saw the similar screen in the CLA 250 (which, in fairness looks even worse). Either put it in dash or make it pop up like Audi does, but that just looks like a huge Garmin, and has no place in a luxury car.
While I agree that there should technically be more people/cars/bikes/etc., I don't think it would be as fun. I find it frustrating from gameplay perspective to constantly be bumping into people, crashing into cars, and so on. Would it be more realistic? Yeah. Would I rather be in traffic for a half an hour than drive…
Yeah, that's how it seems to me too. I signed on to play an MMO-style FPS (well, at least an MO), not to play Halo multiplayer with magic. I'm not really against the PvP section of the game, but I also don't like the idea that I'm forced to play it, kind of like people were getting pissed about having to play Mass…
Looks worth it, to me.
I'll admit, I generally prefer the look of Italian and German cars, but holy crap, that thing is awesome. I really hope that goes to production.
All I'll say is that I watched the video on mute, and I think my understanding of the issue was seemingly almost exactly the same as everyone else's, so that's got to mean...something, right?
