So that that kid can play his DS, apparently.

Tru.

Dude, I for sure thought it was a Miyazaki game for the first few seconds. And yeah, it seems like that's gonna be one of those games you have to play when no one's watching, so if a tear comes out, no one knows. ;)

He's kind of right, though. I'm not going to pretend like my reaction wasn't, "hmmm, well...might be time to buy a Wii U," but the fact remains, a lot of people (Nintendo fans) were just waiting for a big game announcement (Zelda being the most likely one, but Metroid probably would've sufficed) to instantly declare

No Man's Sky looks cool to me, but I dunno how much the gameplay is gonna pull me in. I'd be more excited if they were able to integrate that type of exploration mechanic in a game like Mass Effect, for example. That would be game of the century for me.

Yup, you nailed it. There are people out there who won't give a crap about a new (admittedly amazing-looking) Zelda game. There are plenty of people who couldn't care less about the Master Chief Collection, or Ori and the Blind Forest. Hell, a whole lot of people won't be interested in touching another Dark

Well, this is just the return I was looking for from AC. One of my favorite cities, a great period in history, and no pirate ships!!!! Very excited about this one.

Honestly, just based on the art style alone, I'd say we all still need this game. What little we've seen looks incredible.

To be fair, MS showed some stuff that appeals to a wide variety of ages (especially the indie stuff), but the Xbox One and PS4 are definitely both aimed more thoroughly at older players. Sony has the advantage of a fanbase that's been there since the PS1, so they can take a few more risks, but they're both trying for

Yeah, I feel like a lot of people felt that way. Personally, that's not really something I worry about too much; I'm more interested in seeing concrete evidence, and in seeing details. For example, the Master Chief collection; getting to know exactly what was in it, and that Halo 2 is getting anniv. treatment (along

Yeah, I was really surprised about Splatoon. It looks fun as all hell.

I never doubted it was in-game; Nintendo has some of the best in the business when it comes to graphic design; just look at how great games like Wind Waker and the newest Mario Kart look. I'd still like a Nintendo console on-par power-wise with the XB1 and PS4, but Nintendo is really showing what they can do in HD.

I still think MS had a little more that appealed to me personally, but I was really impressed by Nintendo. They're at least #2 in my book. That Zelda game looks like a definitely system seller, and possibly one of the biggest deals in Zeldadom in a loooooooooong time.

Honestly, between this game and the new Zelda, I'm seriously considering a Wii U as my next current-gen console (over the PS4). It sounds like Nintendo is pulling a Microsoft, and trying to give people what they want, which isn't always how they like to play it. I'm pretty excited.

I'm not gonna lie, a lot of the time I find Nintendo a little out of touch, but this was pretty great.

I would imagine that Ubisoft probably has numbers to support that their titles sell better on MS/Sony consoles than Nintendo ones. That's complete conjecture on my part, obviously, but given the different demographics of the consoles, there's probably some truth to it.

I didn't take it as that; if anything, I took it as their way of saying, "look, we couldn't find support to make a new Conker game (AAA business being what it is now), but we wanted to show you guys we know, and appreciate your support. So here's Conker, and it's up to you to do what you want with him."

1. Sold.

I don't think "knowing" about a game before it's officially announced makes it any worse for anyone. I think the problem nowadays is that people expect everything at E3 to be a secret, and with how pervasive the internet is, that's not possible.
