The problem with these lists is that for the majority of posters here, the Winners and Losers section is always going to be governed by fanboyism. For example: MS mentions Kinect or other peripherals, and it's "OMGLOL Sony owned M$ with all the GAMEZ. Gamerz want GAMEZ, stupi9d M$!" So then MS gives you a conference st

*thought, not "tight"

it's because (as you can see in this thread) Sony has fully embraced making fun of MS as a way to make their console look better. The internet is a powerful thing, and if Sony makes themselves look like the "cool" brand, that'll go a long way with the people who no real opinion otherwise.

Figures, the one video of this I haven't seen. Thanks!

Can this really be called Dark Souls' successor? There isn't gameplay to tie the two together, and obviously it isn't set in the same type of fantasy world. Looks cool enough, though.

I'm not sure that's fair. First off, Halo 5 is at least a year away, and they at least showed a cool trailer from that, so that's a win. Gears, who knows? Mass Effect isn't an Xbox exclusive, so I'm fine with that being left off (especially since it was in EA's presentation).

I would imagine that it's simply them saying, "okay, with all the flak we've gotten for Kinect and the lack of games, let's just focus on the games for a while, and avoid anymore controversy." I would've liked to hear more about Kinect, but I think this was a good call on their end.

It sounds to me like Stanovan was your server that night.

I was literally about to say the same exact thing.

Fair enough. Here's what I'll say though:

Mine too. He's probably trying to figure out where the f*** Miranda got to, as well.

Has a Prothean descended from heaven? Because this one would enjoy Enkindling that.

No, I'm sorry, that's a completely unfair generalization. Sure, there are plenty of games that did offer a game that long (I'm thinking anything old school Square, or Super Mario World after all secrets, for example), but there have been a LOT of games throughout gaming history that didn't come close to 60 hours of

You're pretty hard to please, man. The new footage of Sunset Overdrive was a lot of fun, details on the Master Chief Collection were exciting (to people who like Halo, anyway), Scalebound looks at least interesting, conceptually (no idea if it'll be a good game), and Inside (the game by the Limbo team) looked pretty

I dunno, it's pretty easy to make a good Crackdown game. The only issue I had with the 2nd (aside from the fact that it wasn't the original Crackdown team that worked on it) was that you were constantly shooting muddy looking mutants, which was pretty boring. The 1st Crackdown didn't do anything revolutionary, it just

Yeah, my thoughts exactly. I doubt this is in-game, but if it is, I'll piss myself.

Yeah, but the OP never said "I bought this console just to play this one game for no more than a month." It's an inane point to argue.

Wait, 12-20 hours of SP gameplay + multiplayer isn't enough? There are a lot of people out there who'd pay $60 for 20 hours of meaningful SP, full-stop.

No, I totally agree. There were one or two songs I really liked on the soundtrack (Halo 4), and they weren't even by the main composer. Marty always gave the Halo serious a distinct feel with his music, and the tracks were much more memorable than those of Halo 4.

You and me both. I certainly hope 343 picks him up.
