I'm inclined to agree with you, but the latest Zelda on the 3DS (A Link Between Worlds), is phenomenal. LttP is my favorite Zelda, and I thought that the sequel was Nintendo at their best—blending the things you know and love about Zelda, but shaking things up a little bit with innovate new play mechanics. It's also

You can control volume using SmartGlass. There's an icon on the bottom right (if I recall correctly) that'll allow you to raise/lower as much as you'd like. Also, SmartGlass has portions of the screen divided to work as the buttons of the controller, so you can simply tap the "X" portion of the screen to bring up

I used the PS3 version of this almost exclusively, and will probably use this quite a bit. I like being able to ask Kinect to pause, and SmartGlass is pretty cool, but sometimes you just want a good 'ol fashioned remote!

Except that the One comes with a controller than can be used to control media playback. And Kinect, which can do the same. There's also a SmartGlass app for most smartphones that will work, and is free.

Agreed. Think about it: If you're not a fanboy of either, or are a parent, or a kid saving money, are you going to spend $400 to play Call of Duty, or $500? The real battle won't start for years, until multiple exclusives and price drops on both sides (just like last gen).

Right, because I'm sure that professionals who currently use PCs/Macs for their jobs would definitely find an iPhone adequate for what they do.

When you say PCs, are you saying actual computers (Macs) or are you saying Macs + iDevices? Because if you're saying the former, that isn't a statistic I've seen. I've seen the latter (which is in the link I provided above), which is great, but not the most apropos statistic in the world. I also still don't get what

How is that relevant? Plenty of businesses go under; hell, Apple almost did, and MS had to bail them out. They're doing okay now, I hear.

No, you're totally right. Microsoft, which is the 8th most profitable company on the Fortune 500 list (within $21 million of Walmart, btw), is going under. Have you seen stats on Windows PC sales? Close to 90 million last quarter, if I'm not mistaken (based on this: http://ben-evans.com/benedictevans/…).

This is exactly how I feel too. I wasn't too curious right up until the beta, but I signed up, got an invite, and jumped in. It's SO fun. The titans are great, and the movement in the game is phenomenal. I'm pretty damned excited to see what the full game looks like.

Seems like a lot of the people on this page that played it actually like it a lot (myself included). It's not the deepest game in the world, but what it does, it does well.

Read this right after I wrote my response to the same post. Totally agree with you. ACIV is probably the better game overall, but I had just as much fun (probably more) with Ryse. Not to say I like Ryse better, but it was really a lot of fun to play, and while a superficial experience, was a really good one.

The combat is a little repetitive, but I actually was fine with it. I'm currently playing Black Flag, and I actually miss Ryse's combat (it felt more responsive, for one). It's certainly not a flawless game, but it I would say that even the doubters should check it out when it's on sale.

You're right, it probably is, which is sad. If the full-fledged Wii U games aren't enough to sell your console, you're doing a disservice to your fans (the ones who only have a 3DS and/or Wii) by skimping on features they should have. The 3DS VC is a damn joke; I won't buy a Wii U anytime soon, but I'd buy DOZENS of

Honestly, I'm not surprised this isn't funded yet. First off, I don't want a mobile phone game; I get that they think that's where the money is, but I don't play many games (especially complex ones) on my phone. I also don't want a (spiritual) sequel to FF Tactics on the PC; while I'm fine with it being there, I felt

Yeah man, I really don't get what's up with this gen. No 3D bluray support? The Xbox One is specifically touted as a media machine!!! How can it not play a bluray format? How can the PS4, sequel to one of the best bluray players on the market, also fail at this? Very annoying.

This is a pretty unfair, and biased argument. Squareenix can release a million remakes, ports, sequels to recent games, etc., and THAT'S fine, but it's not fine to release a new Call of Duty game every year, with new graphics, storyline, etc.?

So wait...If someone doesn't like FF XIII, they should go play Call of Duty? I haven't played any of XIII series (the first was described to me by friends as "running through a hallway for the first 30 hours; when this was re-iterated in reviews I read, I stopped paying attention), so I can't claim to be an expert on

This is my issue with the game, as well. I'm going to play it on the PC (I don't really touch my PC much less game on it any more), and the stretch goals to even get the game to the Vita (which I don't have and don't see myself buying any time soon) were...well, a stretch. My preferred medium would've been 3DS as

I meant to say that there wasn't a real physically manifesting Goddess of Summer (unless you believe in that sort of thing).
