For $20, you'll love it. I think $40 and under is its sweet spot for most people; I got it when it first came out, and really like it, but it's a little short I'd say.

Well, in all fairness, there wasn't really a Spirit of Winter or Summer, either, so I'm guessing this wasn't meant to be a very historical game.

I agree for the most part, although personally it's a little disconcerting to me that out of the box the XB1 plays 24p playback badly, and neither the PS4 nor XB1 has out of the box 3D bluray support.

Hey, I've purchased this game 3 times as well, and will most likely purchase it for every platform I own that Squeenix chooses to release it for.

I'll have to defer to your knowledge on that one; what I've read seemed to imply the opposite (that the GPU difference wasn't huge), but it's been a long time since I compared GPUs, so I have no idea what to look for anymore.

Yeah no kidding. I'm trying to come up with scenarios in my head in which the 3 of us can hang out.

Well, I guess that's the problem. I could be wrong, but I don't see MS upgrading the XB1 any time soon, because that would be an absolute nightmare from a PR perspective (much worse than the previous gaffes). So as it is, there will be a bit of a trade-off.

I have an Xbox One, a 360, and a PS3 (no PS4). I think the 360 has the best UI of any of them so far, and I think the XB1 has the best controller (followed closely by the 360). The Xbox One's voice commands work surprisingly well, but can be kind of touchy (you definitely can accidentally command it to do stuff, and

I don't think they're backing off the Kinect at all, they're just making it so that system resources aren't taken up by it unnecessarily. I certainly get your hesitation, and the PS4 isn't a bad choice by any means, but I'm pretty sure the Kinect is here for the long haul (and for good reason).

Honestly, I really liked Ryse. It's relatively short, and the multiplayer is kind of barebones, but it's a beautiful game (maybe the best looking launch title on either system), and it's both fun to play, and interesting. I might not pick this up for $60, but for $40 or less, I think it's a good buy.

I dunno, I really think that this is a case of you (and others) not liking Halo, and thus not getting that it was really popular for a reason, despite your dislike. I thought the original Resistance was kind of crummy and bland, but I understand at least some of the reasons people liked it.

Out of curiosity (because I don't follow these tournaments very closely), who would you consider better? I only ask because all I've ever heard is that Daigo is the best, and you can still find plenty of tournments he took first place in—the last couple videos I've seen are with him and Infiltration (who it seems is

Level gaining doesn't do THAT much for you in Dark Souls, especially depending on your play style. Especially since after a certain point, you get diminishing returns on every stat you raise. It's definitely not grindable the way an old-school JRPG is, and I say this as someone who loves JRPGs and has been grinding

I guess that's probably true, and in my defense, I've played through that section at least 3 times (I think I stopped at Game ++? Can't remember). I ended up doing more or less what you said (although I used a greatshield sometimes), but they still felt kinda cheap to me. Either way, I'm not really complaining.

I'm actually a little disappointed this isn't coming out on the Xbox One/PS4, because I'd really like to play it on something other than my 360. With that being said, as you mentioned, the games are beautiful in their own right even with older hardware.

I would assume you're trolling, since your posts have been so wrong that I doubt you've played the game. There are a few cheap points in the game (archers in Anor Londo, for example), but in general the game rewards caution and precision (and obviously learning from your mistakes). The combat in the game is actually

I feel like that's where a lot of the criticism of male Shepard comes from. It seems like a LOT of people who played as Femshep played her as a badass Renegade, whereas male Shepard lent himself better to Paragon gameplay, in my opinion.

Yeah I picked it up a week ago or so, and played a few rounds. There are some things about it that I found infuriating, but in general, it was awesome.

I've always thought it interesting how loud and...fanatical (for lack of a better word) the FemShep people always are. I have no issue with anyone who played as FemShep (all choices being equal in my eyes), but I've read so many comments on The INTARNET whose gist was "wait, you played as BroShep? Sorry you didn't get

I agree with you; this is a sweet collection, but my favorite part of 40K when I was collecting was the unique characters, which I don't see many of. The Eldar had the Avatar (my single favorite miniature) and the Phoenix Lords, and the Chaos Space Marines had a bunch of twisted, really cool characters (not to mention
