But they just had an Indie Showcase.

The lore does explain why their are no civilizations but these Settlements are actually part of the lore now. You can’t expect surviving races to not want to restart society in some manor. They even worked it into the lore by having a mechanic where the Sentinals will attack your settlements to keep eradicating them.

You can avoid all the stuff you don’t like.  None of it is mandatory. If you still just want to explore while working you way to the center, then go for it.

That is the great thing about No Man’s Sky. You can still play exactly the same way you said before, by just bobbing around...
You do not have to take part in anything new.

That is how I felt after the Red Ring of Death fiasco with my X360. I never had a cooling issue with any of my systems except for that one.

No they are not.  I’m not trying to die on a hill for epic in any way, but if people are going to go at epic for doing what EVERY SINGLE other company has been doing for decades, then that is some mental gymnastics that just prove more and more how biased this world is becoming.

Fortnight is moving the direction of games like Minecraft or Roblox. Its a media platform that takes popular culture and rehashes it.

People arguing that its stealing are so naive. You call that steeling while you play the same 100 platformers and First Person shooters over and over again in the g guise of a “new

stealing ideas?? WTF. You know how many games were made off the back of stealing ideas. You think Mario and Wolfenstein should be the only games ever made just because hey were the one that popularized their genre..

So what you are saying is that the AMong Us devs should be the only one to create a werewolf style game and should be given a patent and any other company that creates a game like it should be sued??

Imagine if that happened 40 year ago..we would have no games but the original ones that invented said mechanic.

The funny thing is the Fortnight verison actually adds new stuff but no one is mentioning that because they want to just have bullets for their shoot epic gone.

Just because they made it popular doesn’t mean it belongs to them though. That would be like saying Wolfenstien should be the only FPS ever made or Mario Bros should be the only platformer ever made because they made those genres popular...

The mental gymnastics people go through so they can justify this shite is

If you think that is gross, then you should just stop gaming. Every single innovation in gaming has been taken and used by every other gaming company, Including Among us devs. Their game is pretty much a clone with only tasks added.

This is a common misconception . They did not patent the idea, only the code in the engine. Companies are free to create a similar system as long as their code differs from the Nemesis engine.

Wasn’t an issue for the PS4. This is pretty much the same.  Sony will have a list of drives people can buy and they will have labeling in stores just like PS4 HDD’s did.

Yea and it takes only a few minutes to install the NVME SSD in the Ps5 and once it’s done it’s done.

I get what you are saying, but you it no way countered my point. It doesn’t take that long to open up the bay of the PS5 like this article pretends it does. It takes about 45 seconds to reach the bay. You can literally

I would take Sony’s NVME solution over Microsoft, but I am also a tech enthusiast so this all sounds basic and rudimentary to me. Microsoft’s solution is obviously far easier, but it does not offer the performance that Sony’s does.

There are strengths and weaknesses to both of them.  I opted into the beta so hopefully

More needless negativity from Kotaku. I’m sensing a trend lately. Just because a game is different or not what you want, doesn’t make it shit.

I do not play gatcha games, but I know people that do and they enjoy them. Shoot many people do or they wouldn’t be so popular.

I often wonder why someone( my Mom lol) throwing

I am one of the people that was going to buy the Switch LED only to preorder the Steam Deck instead. Valve announced this thing at the perfect time.  I already have an original switch, but that thing is showing its age and to be honest it never looked good to begin with.

This is my biggest pet peeve with all these gaming companies. Nintendo is notorious for this crap. I remember them announcing Metroid 4 years with just a title card and they did the same thing with Smash Bros 2 different times. Bethesda did the same thing with ES and Starfield and just recently at Microsofts “e3" they

I wouldn’t personally call Ghostwire a big exclusive since it is also coming to Windows PC. Tango only employs like 65 people so this is clearly a case of them needing more time since you know a pandemic is still ongoing.

Also why would MS do something so trivial and miss out on those Holiday sales money.
