Except you are under the impression that investments are only positive and that is the only requirement to make something an investment. That is a gigantically false statement. Some investments lose money. In fact most people who invest in things have no idea what they are doing and lose money.

It doesn’t matter what

That is not only factually wrong but just short sighted. I sold a copy of FF7 for 350$ in 2007. Games just like a myriad of things will appreciate in value.

I buy and sell rare Lego and I know people in the Magic and Pokemon scene.

Video games are an investment. You invest time and money into them.

I look forward to

Why is it dumb? People spend that kind of money on coffee or whatever only to Shit it out. This is an investment. Who are you to say what they do with their money, some people have a ton of it and can buy frivolous things.

Everything you said is completely true and I am not arguing that, and I feel like people are missing the point of this particular thread now. Ash called a guy a Racist, when in fact he was not being racist but made a very general statement.

The original poster said and I quote “Ah yes, Race”. Ash proceeded to call

First of all, you don’t know if they are a dude or white. You assuming as much automatically makes you just as bad as those you preach against.

“Ah yes, race.is hardly a criticism. It is more a disagreement and opening for a discussion. Many of you need to learn that a disagreement on something, doesn’t NOT MAKE

I normally respect everything you put out Ash, being half black/white, but you are wrong here . He did the very same thing you yourself did and in no way were either of you being racist.

People need to stop knee-jerk calling other people racist around every discussion about race. It waters down what racism is.

While that is true for some things, it is not always true for others. In the case of the PS5, putting it upside or right-side up does not impede air flow in the slightest. You made a blanket statement about electronics in general but did not apply that thought to the actual product we are talking about.

I had mine placed upside down for a while. I have it in a dark case and mostly play digital. I never noticed the nubs they have on the bottom to denote orientation until I went to do some shuffling around one day.

I personally think the PS5 looks better the “right-way” up, with the disc drive at the bottom. It just looks right to me, but that could be me being pre-conditioned because of the advertisements that came out before I purchased mine. Funny enough I had my XSX upside for months before I realized the slot goes at the

I wouldn’t call it a fail at all considering it does not impact usability. You can actually run it upside down just as well as right-side up. The thing is, it is not doing anything different than any other box electronics except it doesn’t have any telling clues that people use like writing or symbols on buttons.

The

I mean I can get why people wouldn’t like it, but it’s not a turd. People need to really get off all the internet hyperbole. Just because something isn’t amazing doesn’t mean it is the complete opposite. Its ok for things to be good or even mediocre. FF13 is fine, maybe even good in some ways.

Pretty much everything. It plays like an arcade game. You shoot a variety of weapons and then you die and have to repeat it all again. You get upgrades as you go along. Like I said before it plays more like a modern version of Contra and has more in common with Resogun than shooters. Even the way you move and dash

The shooting mechanic plays more like Resogun or other arcade style shooters to be honest. It has more in common with those games than it does traditional 3rd person shooters.  Obviously the biggest change is the perspective, but the game at it’s roots is more arcade than you would expect.

Gamepass libary isn’t exactly all that great to be honest.  I reguarily get on and they are mostly games I have already played.  I think in the future it will be great since I can play upcoming games on day 1, but as of now, it doesn’t suit my needs.  I got it for a 1$ though so it was easily worht that purchase.

I

What?  Nice deflection buddy.

Playstation NOW is exactly like gamepass though?? The only difference is the amount of games. It’s the exact same service though, you pay a subscritption for hundreds of games that you can stream or download to various devices. How is it different? It’s also a good bit cheaper for Now. I believe it is only 60$ a year,

A bidding war? When have they ever been in a bidding war with eachother. Micosoft may have the most cash in hand of any company on the planet, but Sony was also in the top 10 last year having 35 billion. Yea Microsoft 130 billion dwarf everyone, but if you think a bidding war for a game company is going to go anywhere

No, that is wrong. Contracts exist for a reason.

You should actually read the interview instead of this click-bait nonsense article from Ethan. Sony at no point says anything about Microsoft. Hulst was asked a question and he answered about what kind of deals Sony makes. They like to acquire companies they have long history with..that is it. This is what he means by

Sony tried this many years ago and was essentially just to early. You could play PS Now on Phones, TVs and even a fridge in Japan. Not sure why it never hit stateside. Stateside its just consoles and PC, but they have mentioned TV’s and Phones several times. Microsoft is late to the party, but they are already a head
