Ratchet and Clank and Demon’s Souls are still both only PS5 and I hardcore want both of those game more than the other two oddly enough. I have to get a Ps5 to play them. Hope I can find one.

Usually no, but if the systems are similar and use the same materials, weight can be a quick factor in determining volume.  Its not like one is made of plastic and the other made of Lead.

No they see it as making up the revenue from Playstation Store sales since all the games are digital. In fact I would bet that system ends up making more money than the Disc one.  They don’t have to pay a 30% cut to Gamestop of whatever brick and mortar store. 

Many this price point is actually an insanely good value. $400 for a console that is full spec is insane. That is only $100 more than the Xbox Series S, but more than twice the power. Simultaneously 100 less than the Xbox Series X which is only 18% increase.

I bet this was a case of someone going into a database of licensed samples and just choosing one they liked. It happened to be James Brown since he has more samples than any other artist.
