I have never lost a console due to a cooling issue outside of the X360 red ring of death issue which was a roundabout heating issue. I feel like for the most part, consoles have always done a good job with heating, even if they sometimes sound like a jet engine.

Except you said they downgraded the characters and that is just not the case. That is a factual statement and you presented it as such but have no factual basis behind it. If anything the characters have been upgraded since they are customizable and of a far higher quality than the leaked videos from a year ago.
