Aside from from the general crappyness of all this, it seems vaguely disrespectful to me that they named their store Origin. It brings up memories of Wing Commander and other awesome games from a once great company.

@Ghinn: They did that actually, for Splinter Cell: Pandora Tommorow.

@juxtapose519: Have you heard about Xenonauts? It seems to be in every way the X-Com sequel we've all been waiting for, even if it doesn't bear the title. I think they're expecting to have it done some time this year.

"Ripley, the android Hicks, and the child Newt all escape on the spaceship Sulaco which is destined for Earth."

@dbzispimpin: You need to do more research sir! They've said for some time now that they planned to have 4 playable characters, and that one of them was Sam B, the washed up rapper.

@Harley Mills: Dead Rising nailed the open world zombie game twice. It's nothing new. Besides Far Cry 2 showed us driving around everywhere in first person can be awfully tedious.

@fELIXADER: "Please please please make an association between the two, otherwise everyone will hate our game for having no emotional impact"

@Barcini: It's been a while since i've played it, but I think Boom Blox is playable one handed. Not a fantastic game, but some good smashy fun for a while.

And now Homeland Security has everyone's personal information.

Doesn't a major company come out every 5 years or so and say that single player games are dead?

Touché sir.

@Titch007uk: You're so sick of zombie games that you felt it necessary to watch a trailer for one, then read an article about it, and then post a comment on said article!

Legacy, the song used in the intro, was the very first heavy metal (or close to it) song I ever heard. I was 10 years old or so at the time, and only had the demo (my parents wouldn't let me get the full game until I was closer to 13), but man I loved that song, and still do.

When we see those terrorists circle strafing and jumping all the time (not to mention teabagging fallen oponents) we'll know what the deal is!

@SeckzPanther: Actually, struck me more as Red Faction: Guerilla. In GTA he just woulda bounced back off the concrete divider.

@Kilolas: I'm pretty sure Riot, or at least Steve Feak coined the term MOBA, so even if it's not the most appropriate, it's probably what they'd want to be called.

@lithiumforlunch: I'm picturing Gabe Newell as a large delicious postman now.
