Thank goodness toilets in Japan are so efficient.

And stupid Kinja won’t let me edit now that I see that typo. Thanks, terrible user interface!
I don’t think the Wolfenstein and Doom RPG games are considered canon. Also, BJ is Keen’s paternal grandfather, which means he needs to have a son in order to preserve the timeline.
I just wanted to say that Commander Keen had a profound influence on my life. If Bethesda has any wits at all, they will bring you on board to right the ship. As glad as I am that they’re acknowledging Commander Kern's existence, we still need to bring down Mortimer McMire and stop the universe from becoming toast!
There are pogo sticks in another trailer.
Commander Keen is a series that deserves much more than a free-to-play mobile game. It deserves a full-fledged, proper sequel using current tech. It was basically the forefather of all PC-based platformers.
I actually liked Dark Phoenix in that while it wasn’t a great movie by any stretch, it was a work of art compared to the dumpster fire that was Last Stand.
Honestly? I didn’t even miss Wolverine in this one. Cyclops getting to drop the one allowed PG-13 F-bomb was a really cathartic moment after watching him be the buttmonkey of X-Men 1 through 3.
I really wanted to like this game. In fact, I haven’t ruled out that I might like it in the future, but I haven’t reached that point yet. (I’m a huge Three Kingdoms buff, but I’ve never played a Total War game before.) And to be perfectly fair, there are plenty of things I like and admire about this game. But I’m not…
Get the fuck out of here with your strawman bullshit.
Hot take, apparently, but Super Mario Odyssey’s camera is atrocious. I don’t know why any game would insist on moving the camera in a circular motion while you’re trying to keep moving in a straight line on a wire-thin platform.
Hide and Rez was a really awful strat to play against. But I miss the mass resurrection ultimate. When it was done skillfully, in the middle of a firefight where Mercy was actively helping her team, it was glorious.
I’m of the opinion that if you need to step away from a game because it makes you angry, then do so. Yeah, it sucks to have an opponent drop mid-game, but nobody should be stuck doing something that they don't enjoy. But then stay away from the game for good until you’re in a better place and can handle the setbacks.
Are you telling me that Epic never bothered initiating a system where you actually have to confirm your account once it’s registered? And we’re supposed to trust them with our credit card info?
From fanbros will never accept an easy mode, no matter how optional or condescending, in one of their games. Because if they did, then they’d have to stop calling janky physics and bad hit detection that make those games borderline unplayable “difficulty” and instead call it “bad game design disguised as difficulty.”
I’m not mad about the Epic Game Store. I think competition is a good thing. But I have yet to see any compelling reason to use it (aside from the dubious benefit of getting to buy timed exclusives at full price when they come out). Devs get a bigger share of game sales? That’s great! But it also doesn’t give me any…
I get why they’re doing this, but I trust Epic about as far as I can throw them. Guess this means I won’t be buying Borderlands 3 for about six months, then.
Amen. And many of those people who want to play the game on Easy mode would be more than happy to try a more difficult playthrough. This masturbatory gatekeeping is helping absolutely nobody.
I agree with OP. While unlocking all of the Far Cry perks might make me feel like an overpowered god, I still have to go through a difficult time getting to that level. The choices that I make along the way matter because they change the way I play while trying to get to that point.
No. Internet speeds are still garbage across most of the US, and ISPs will charge an arm and a leg for speeds fast enough for this to be viable. Even their talk of save states where you can hop back to before a lag spike or disconnect won’t help with multiplayer games. Unless Google plans to expand their Google Fiber…
