I really wish Marvel would stop trying to make the Inhumans happen. I know that technically, they came before mutants, but they’ve always just felt like third-rate X-Men knockoffs. Yeah, I try not to let hype influence me too much, but for this game, reviewers set expectations that the game wasn’t able to fulfill for me. Still a very well done game, but the praise is so universally effusive and exaggerated that I ended up feeling a little underwhelmed.

In my opinion, this movie was everything it needed to be. It missed a few opportunities, but overall, I left awestruck and impressed. It’s very clear that this was a love letter to the original series - there were quite a few parallels between this one and A New Hope - but it also stands well on its own.

Yeah, I didn’t find it to be the transcendent, life-changing experience that everyone told me it would be. That being said, I can still appreciate it on its own merits as long as I don’t have to read a bunch of “critics” flagellating themselves over it.

Koei Tecmo always waits until the last minute to decide to localize something. Personally, I’m more cheesed they never localized Romance of the Three Kingdoms 12, Dynasty Warriors Blast, or Dynasty Warriors Strikeforce 2, which were not boob simulators.

I enjoy this series, and I find myself more of a fan of slow-burn visual novels like this and Higurashi than I am of fast-paced ones that don’t give you time to get attached to characters before they start dying off or something.
