They’ve just seemed so irrelevant in phase two. I’ve waited the 7+ minutes after the credits (to the annoyance of the theater cleaners) for stuff that did nothing to advance the overall MCU plot and weren’t at all entertaining: a. Howard the Duck, b. Bucky finding out something we all had already inferred from the

...in which he continues in a sort of limbo knowing he can never touch his precious movies again.

Totally this makes sense to me. Just saw it last night (loved it) and felt like I was on a high speed rollercoaster in a wind tunnel with a black hole in the car in front of me sucking my eyes towards dead center except to look at some of the extra-wide-shot gorgeous vistas during (very infrequent) slower moments.

...And you might get out if the mine don’t flood

I’m kind of underwhelmed by everything today. I finally saw Mad Max this past weekend and I think my mind is permanently blown.

If I were Superman I’d trust black Jimmy Olsen to help Supergirl more than ginger Jimmy. Ginger Jimmy could screw up a glass of ice water, and have it transform him into a 50 foot monster.

Anyone else think Harrison Wells could be Jay Garrick in the timeline where the accelerator goes off later? Mentor to Barry check. Plus will let Tom Cavanagh come back and be awesome.

Middle age pretty much takes care of this problem... you find that you don’t really give a shit what people think of you. It’s kind of cool, actually.

I imagine there were like twelve versions of Barry, a handful of Wally Wests, and a Bart Allen all gathered there at the site of Barry’s mom’s death, arguing about which way he should go with this.

Really none of these three are better than the others. They are all different and excellent at what they try to do.

This is not something we should believe, but it’s something we should worry about. Pegg is right that movies like Star Wars (and Jaws and Indie) were important during the 1970s-80s transition from movies with downtown premieres to the suburban multiplex. Sure, you can’t blame a single film for the shift toward

FIrst off, it’s Supergirl, and not Superman. Secondly:

I love how willing Arrow and Flash have been about other superheroes coming in to help. It’s refreshing. Although the fight scene on Flash last night was too short for me (despite being excellent).

If you’ve never watched Josie and the Pussycats....seriously do so. Despite what the marketing made it look like, it’s actually a giant satire of commercialization and pop music/pop culture in general. It’s no lie one of my favorite movies, and I feel like it never had a chance thanks to people thinking it was just

I could never figure out why either. I mean, it couldn't be licensing issues with separate networks. And apparently it only released on 469 screens. This movie convinced me to pick up my first board! I need the dvd.

100% and this is when movies get in trouble, start letting fans outcry, before there is even a finished product, change what you’re doing. If you have a vision for it, go all in and let it speak for itself

I’m all for female characters wearing armor to be wearing accurate armor. However, Wonder Woman’s armor is probably pretty much useless in a traditional sense. Unless it’s somehow magically protective (I don’t think it is), her costume is just decorative and minimally covering for modesty’s sake. Her invulnerability

Ok, I know this will probably be received poorly, but I really want to know: Wonder Woman is supposed to be bulletproof or nearly invulnerable, right? So...why does it matter if she’s wearing armor? People always bring this up when talking about her costume. Why isn’t she wearing armor blah blah blah. When Superman

I know everyone hates in the JJ films, but has there ever been a Star Trek film that is primarily focused on exploration and discovery in space? I feel like most of the old films end with Kirk saying "let's go exploring!" And then we get to the next film and they're already knee deep in some other crisis.

At random times, he came across these notes and would experience fresh waves of grief at the knowledge that he had lost his parents.
